Capítulo 65: Picking Up

Knox and Neal spent more time with Kleo and Mr Thomas. The second bottle of wine came in and the laughs and conversations continued.

"Just like what I said, Mr Thomas, you still haven't told us why you invited us here." Knox broke the light atmosphere, getting the other man's attention.

Mr Thomas, who was laughing uncontrollably earlier while telling his funny moments in life, snapped out of his drunk state. He put the bottle of wine down on the table that was now in half.

Hiccups followed before he looked the mafia in the eyes. "What are you talking about?" He asked.

Mr Thomas frowned. "Didn't I tell you that I invited you because you are one of our guests?" He explained then he gazed at the glass walls reflecting those people who were enjoying the party outside.

"I mean if you guys want to go outside it's fine. Who would want to have a drunk conversation with an old man like me anyway? " he said.
