Capítulo 245: Serpents and Serpent Girls 5
Rune groaned from atop his platform as he tried to make out the shapes in his blurry vision.
Ugh, things aren't looking so good for me right now.
He had made a foothold using barrier magic, but he wasn't expecting it to be of much help. The Rock Serpent snapped at him with his fanged jaws as he ascended, and Rune was somehow able to parry the attack and leave it with a slash across the eye. Nothing too deep, but it was enough to leave it mostly blind on that side like he was now. Still, it wasn't like he could just stand in place forever. Eventually, the beast would recover, and he would be in a tough spot.
I definitely pissed it off...
From the vague images he could make out, the Rock Serpent appeared to be going on a rampage. He could just barely make out its form as it zig-zagged in and jumped through the sand below him, its temper flaring from the pain of having its eye stolen.

Tasty_Dragon 5 out of 7 chapters.. Not quite the goal I wanted to reach this week, but still a good effort. Some of these chapters were pretty meaty too. While we are on the topic of schedules, I want to give you guys a heads up that there will be no chapter on tuesday (pst timezone). I have some stuff to take care of that day. You can still expect at least 5 chapters next week, though, just like this week.
