Capítulo 53: chapter 53 The pills

King Desmond sat up on the bed and watched her as she covered the medicine bottles with their various caps but he still wondered what the other pill was and why it was special. If only he had a vivid view at it, at least he would be aware of the drug that he was taking.

Margaret walked up to the king holding the gold plate containing the pills and gave him the pills in his hand, then she turned back to the table to pour out some water for him as she forgot to do so.

Desmond took his time to study the pills that were in his palms. They looked alike in colour as they were all whitish, though there was a slight difference in size. Size wasn't really a factor to determine the distinctive pill that she added from her pocket. He still had no idea why there was a special bottle of pills which she carried around but if there was anything that he was sure of, it would be the fact that his wife, Margaret has given him enough reasons while he wouldn't be able to trust her.
