The creepiness started to travel on Louisanna's body as the big gate opened sideways when Domhall moved his hand. A black carpet with little fire on its edges greeted her, causing Louisanna to gulp twice.
It was a beautiful sight, but the anonymous feeling inside that place was intense. At that time, she wanted to take back what she had promised to Domhall earlier. Louisanna positioned her other foot towards her back as her body went sideways.
'I want to run…' Louisanna thought at the back of her mind. Her sweat accumulated from her forehead down her nape.
She knew it wasn't because of the fire on both sides but because of her nervousness— since she didn't know what would happen once she entered that place.
"Come on, Luna," Domhall called her in a baritone voice, which made her snap out of her thoughts.
"Ah, y-yes," Louisanna answered, slightly stuttering as she ran lightly to catch up with Domhall's steps.
