In the video, Commissioner Gordon, unable to rest, hastily returned to the police station to inquire about the whereabouts of Harvey Dent after the outburst.
In the dimly lit interrogation room, the Joker initially played dumb and clueless but then hinted that Harvey Dent was in a dire situation and might be blown to bits at a certain point. Apart from this, he refused to reveal more. Commissioner Gordon, seeing this, wasted no time, unlocked the handcuffs with a key, and said sternly, "You want to play... Alright."
The Joker chuckled, "Oh, going for the tough approach now?"
"Not exactly," Commissioner Gordon shrugged and left.
Meanwhile, the lights in the interrogation room were turned on completely, and at that moment, people saw that there was someone else behind the Joker, the elusive Batman!
Without any hesitation, Batman slammed the Joker's head into the iron table.
The Joker, holding his forehead, unhappily said, "Could you not start with the head? If the victim gets a headache first, he won't feel your next..."
Before he could finish his sentence, Batman delivered another heavy blow to his other hand.
"Looks like you've understood," the Joker blinked and appeared unflinchingly ready for more.
Sitting across from him, Batman's voice was raspy and grim, "You wanted to find me, and here I am."
The Joker stared into his eyes, "I just wanted to see what you would do. You certainly didn't disappoint. You caused five people to die, and then you pinned it on Dent. Even for someone like me, this is too cold-blooded!"
This madman seemed to understand some psychology. During his conversation with Commissioner Gordon earlier, he accused him of being responsible for Harvey Dent's disappearance due to a traitor in his ranks.
Now, he was trying the same tactics with Batman, but it was clear that Batman wouldn't be easily swayed.
Batman cut to the chase, "Where is Dent?"
But the Joker replied evasively, "The idiots in the mob want you gone so they can do whatever they please. But I know the truth. There's no turning back. You've already changed everything, and it's permanent."
His words seemed to place him on the opposite side of the mob.
Batman was getting impatient, "So why would you want to kill me?"
Upon hearing this, the Joker laughed uncontrollably, as if he had heard a hilarious joke, and he said while laughing, "I never wanted to kill you. Without you, what would I do? Go back to robbing mob bosses? No, no! I don't want that. It's you... you complete me, make me whole!"
The Joker's serious yet insane look in the video made people shake their heads, thinking that he was the craziest psychopath in the world.
Batman scolded him for being a money-driven killer.
The Joker saw through Batman's interrogation act and waved his hand, "Don't imitate those outside. You're not like them, and even if you wanted to, you can't be like them! In their eyes, you're a monster, just like me. They need you now, but what happens after that? They'll be too scared to even be near you. You know, their morals and principles are nothing but a joke. When they face minor adversity, they all wet themselves. The rules can tolerate them wherever they are, but during some small conflicts, these so-called 'gentlemen' will eat each other!"
"You see, I'm not really a monster," the Joker sat up straight and grinned, "I'm just on a whole different level."
Batman, frustrated with his twisted reasoning, felt that the madman was stalling for time. He grabbed the Joker's collar and slammed him into the wall, demanding to know Harvey Dent's whereabouts.
But the Joker continued to taunt him, hoping to push Batman to break his "no killing" rule and revealed that he not only took Dent but also Rachel!
Hearing that his childhood love was also in danger, Batman lost his cool. He slammed the Joker onto the table and used a chair to block the interrogation room's door.
Outside, in full view of the police, he began to physically assault the Joker and resort to vigilantism.
Facing Batman's rage, the Joker was fearless and continued to provoke him while being beaten.
"Haha, you're nothing. You don't have any cards left except your strength. You have no way... Haha, ha!"
Under Batman's iron fist, the Joker eventually revealed some crucial clues, which might have been part of his plan: Harvey Dent and Rachel were held in different locations, and Batman could only save one of them, while the other would die.
After receiving this information, Batman didn't bother with the madman and left.
Commissioner Gordon stood outside and asked him, "Who do you want to go for?"
"Rachel!" Batman replied without hesitation.
"Alright, we'll go for Dent!"
They decided to go their separate ways and rescue the hostages, but there were doubts about whether the police, arriving late as usual, could rescue them in time.
Batman chose to save the woman he loved, essentially sacrificing Harvey Dent.
In the video, Commissioner Gordon's face was grim, "This lunatic... he's playing with people's emotions and feelings. We underestimated this lunatic's intentions for the future!"
Bruce Wayne also wore a serious expression and furrowed his brow, "No, something doesn't feel right. Why did the Joker reveal the addresses so easily?"
Peter Parker speculated, "This must be his plan, making you, Mr. Wayne, face this dilemma. Even if you save one hostage, if the other hostage comes to harm, you'll surely blame yourself."
