The conference room echoed with, "I will resign right here, right now."

The atmosphere was already tense. Nivritti was berating Vicktor and Bong. No one ever thought they might have to see such a picture in their life, an employee scolding a CEO. Everyone respected him, there was no doubt about that but at that moment it was necessary to teach him a lesson.

What Nivritti said was true. He called this meeting to show everyone that she was at fault. He even signalled ASD at the start of the meeting. Everyone remembered Bong's words, "I just wanted to show you something."

From Bong's perspective, he was just protecting his boys. They went to her for advice. Maybe one day her advice would backfire, and they would have to suffer. He wanted to show them that they should be cautious as someone who helped them at one time might betray them at another.
