Gu Chen, at the end of the Ten Thousand Mountains, stepped onto an ancient altar and ascended the Heavenly Path. In a moment of flashing light, he vanished from where he stood and left Jiuzhou!
This was a path with no guaranteed return. Once embarked upon, it meant severing all ties with Jiuzhou, and any hope of return was unpredictable and uncertain.
On that ancient altar, as Gu Chen disappeared, the transmission began. A bizarre and dazzling passageway opened in the void, connecting the upper and lower realms.
This passage was long, and being in it, Gu Chen vaguely felt a sense of spatial-temporal confusion.
Outside the passage, a kaleidoscope of colors danced and shone, with various strange lights flickering. From time to time, stars and an endless Heavenly River could be seen, presenting an extraordinary spectacle.
Giant stars spun, hazy and brilliant. The scenery was sometimes clear, sometimes blurred, inevitably causing some surprise and uncertainty.
