The atmosphere was heavy with the mysteries of this cursed place, and a lot of questions were on her mind 

Suddenly interrupting her thoughts, Aslan approached her, knowing the identity of her friend without turning back she asked " So did you talk to him?" 

"Yeah, I did," Aslan answered softly, her gaze still fixed on the haunting trees. "He told me that he do it to protect me."

Lisa turned to look at Aslan, seeing the mixture of emotions in her friend's eyes. "And how do you feel about it?" she asked gently.
