They didn't seem shocked about Zun arriving earlier then, after all he was rumored to have reached the very limit of commander level and he just lacked a chance to take another step forward.

Commander level was just a ranking in the military, but it also indicated a certain realm, as one had to attain a certain level of strength to gain this status or even improve it. Even though the term didn't represent the name of the realm, it was easier for those in the military to understand where one's strength was by their rank.

Above the commander is the General level, and they had only one person of such level in the military camp.
