The triangle represented the most stable shape, and thus, Arceus created Giratina, the keeper of the world's darker aspects, tasked with absorbing, digesting, and purifying its negative elements.

He wasn't lying; he had indeed traveled from the border between the two countries. The journey involved a combination of flying, teleporting, and precise use of kunai, taking less time than one might expect.
But what had not happened before did not mean it couldn't happen now. Unbeknownst to Terumi Mei, a subtle mark was left just below her shoulder. She had unknowingly been branded by him.
Terumi Mei chose to believe him, saying, "I trust the Fifth Hokage won't deceive me."
What choice did she have? Not trusting him would only lead to more complications.
