Capítulo 42: Blessing of the Harbinger
Hearing that Lui Marime was putting her life on the line just so he would feel safe talking to her and dealing with the recent loss of his mother he was slightly confused.
He learned in a very painful manner what life and death meant, and to see someone just about willing to end their own life just to talk to him made him feel awkward and slightly remorseful inside.
Especially with the comfortable and familiar feeling he received from the beauty in the room. Seeing how things were going not wanting to feel any worse Wo Shie agreed to go and speak with Lui Marime.
"I'll talk with you, you didn't have to put your life on the line…" Wo Shie said with his head down as the feelings he was feeling inside were akin to hurting or letting down one's own loved ones.
Hearing this a beaming smile appeared on Lui Marimes face. "Good thank you young Wo Shie you will not regret this I've already prepared for you rewards and cultivation resources for your time!" She said with joy overflowing in her heart as she finally had hope of progressing past the bottle neck she currently had in her cultivation for the past few millennia.
After hearing this Fu Shen thought 'you could have led with that and then you wouldn't have had to become the kids protector in addition to whatever resources you're going to give him.'
Fu Shen's line of thinking was correct because due to the vagueness of her words with her oath saying "I mean no harm to this child" she now also was responsible of making sure that nobody were to try and harm Wo Shie through her or in her name.
One would also note that her words were 'this child' but that didn't mean she could only not harm him as a child since her intention and the meaning of those words was Wo Shie her oath would remain even as Wo Shie grew older.
"Should we go now? Where will we go sit down at?" Lui Marime excitedly asked the young Wo Shie giving a nice surprise to everyone that had heard the rumors of this demoness. First she was a true noble entering the room, her imposing air was unquestionable, yet now she seemed like an excited child finally getting the candy they had been begging for the entire time in the market.
Wo Shie looked to Fu Shen who only gave him a nod not saying anything leaving the decision of where they would talk in his hands.
"Uhm we can either go to my room or the garden I guess.." Wo Shie said lightening up seeing how happy she was that he agreed. He even became slightly excited hearing that she would be giving him stuff for cultivation even though he didn't know what he would be receiving.
As Wo Shie was already standing Lui Marime said "Great let's go wherever's the most comfortable for you!" She said this while reaching towards Wo Shie's hand.
Once she grasped Wo Shie's hand an invisible black and white light only visible to the two of them descended from the heavens as a strange phenomenon began to happen in all worlds not limited to the mortal plane, the immortal dimension, the realm of the gods or even the shinigami world.
The same phenomenon occurred in every world in existence as the skies darkened with clouds that looked like a swirl of black and white while black and white lightning raining from the sky on all worlds surprisingly the lightning didn't effect anything physically not destroying land or even harming the living beings.
Instead the black lightning destroyed all the spirit energy in the air while the white lightning created a new energy similar to that of Wo Shie's source energy across every world. All the spirit energy destroyed by the black lightning was actually distributed to a few select beings.
The cultivators and living beings were at first horrified seeing such a dramatic occurance as most of them thought this was retribution for all the evil or wrong deeds they may have committed in the dark.
However, feeling the spirit energy in the air thinning out and a new more potent and vibrant energy in the air they knew something beyond their understanding was happening.
Even the lower worlds where they were primitives to cultivation and there was no such thing as cultivation to 99.99% of their population. The changes of the energy were noticeable to all as this vibrant new energy triggered almost immediate evolutions in these lower worlds.
The energy was so vibrant that being a non cultivator and just breathing it in one would almost feel that they had just become the superhero's they'd seen on tv as their senses and strength increased by almost 3 fold from simply breathing.
However some higher worlds that were on the level of the shinigami world couldn't help but shake in fear as this phenomenon was more so a harbinger than a blessing.
