Capítulo 422: Chapter 421: Crowd (Edited)

"What's going on here?!"

Not long after Fish finished greeting the Malfoys, a wizard in bloomers suddenly descended from the sky, he was one of the wizards sent by the Ministry of Magic to keep order in the camp, and with all the commotion going on around Fish, it was impossible for him not to come and take a look.

But as soon as he arrived and saw the group of "troublemakers," he immediately froze....

Malfoy, Greengrass, Parkinson, Macmillan, Weasley.... Not only were there several members of the twenty-eight pureblood families in the crowd, but also his former transfiguration teacher at Hogwarts, Minerva McGonagall.

"Hello again, Toby."

Lucius nodded reassuringly to the wizard in the bloomers, he and the Minister of Magic, Cornelius Fudge, could talk and laugh merrily, so naturally he wouldn't take Toby, an ordinary clerk, seriously.

"Hello, Lucius," the wizard said with a helpless sigh as he looked at the gathered crowd, "Can you tell me what's going on? With so many people gathered, it's too easy to attract the attention of Muggles.... In fact, I just cast another Dememorizing Charm on Mr. Roberts..."

"It's no big deal, Toby." Lucius spoke almost in the same manner as Draco, he said slowly, "It's just that my son wanted to invite his schoolmates to have breakfast with him."

Toby scanned the people around him again and then flashed Lucius a complex "I treat you nice and you treat me like an idiot" expression.

"Hmph."

The haughty Malfoy didn't bother to explain himself and snorted coldly, ignoring the wizard.

It was Professor McGonagall who took the initiative, "Lucius wasn't lying, Toby, it was Fish who caused the commotion here, and I'm here to apologize for him."

"What are you talking about, Minerva? Fish didn't do anything!"

?(?`Д′?)?

He hadn't done anything out of the ordinary since he arrived, so how could they blame him?

They were the ones who followed him here, so what did it have to do with him?

It was then that the wizard noticed Fish.

Many people had heard of Professor McGonagall's adopted son, but at the Ministry they were more informed, as Professor McGonagall had taken Fish to the Ministry to register him as Animagus, and some of the staff there had seen him in person.

With the publicity from those people, it was known at the Ministry that Professor McGonagall's adopted son had a strange gift, similar to that of a Veela, as well as being a natural Animagus.

But those who had not seen him had no clear idea of Fish's affinity, and even some wizards strong-willed enough not to be swayed by Veela could think that others who had seen Fish were exaggerating.

Toby, for his part, had felt the same way before this.

But after meeting Fish, he instantly understood why such a large crowd had gathered.

Toby didn't believe at all that the descriptions of his colleagues at the Office for the Prohibition of the Abuse of Magic were accurate, Fish's gift was completely different from that of the Veela's, if the Veela's attraction was a potent bottle of ecstasy, Fish's affinity was a gentle bottle of euphoria.

While the Veela's gift was to make the opposite sex obsess over her and become incredibly arrogant, Fish's affinity did not change people's nature, but simply made them feel close, as if they were meeting their favorite animal, or favorite offspring, or best friend, or whatever.

For example, now, if it weren't for his duty, Toby would also like to join in, have breakfast with Fish and have a chat or something.

"You guys! There's no need for so many people to get together for breakfast, is there? The kids are playing together, what are the adults doing?"

Toby didn't want to blame Fish and the children around him, nor did he dare provoke the Purebloods, led by Lucius, so he turned his head and started shooing the children's parents away.

The parents of Seamus and the others were not as confident as Lucius and the others, and had to regretfully bid farewell to Professor McGonagall and Fish, and then give their children some more advice before returning with some of the food.

Fish was not tempted by Draco's lavish meal and opted to continue on to the camp where Harry and Ron were.

Of course, he invited Draco again, but only some of the girls said yes, the boys were tempted but declined the invitation.

Besides, Draco was generous enough to give Fish some of the Australian cod he had mentioned earlier.

The group arrived en masse at the Weasley camp, startling Mr. Weasley and the twins, who were discussing how to make fire with matches.

But when they saw Professor McGonagall and Fish, they instantly understood what had happened.

"Just a moment," Mr. Weasley looked lost at the sight of so many people coming at once. He fiddled with the matchbook in his hand and said in a slightly nervous voice, "I'm about to find out how to use this."

As he said this, he took out another match, put it next to the box and rubbed it twice, and this time he was lucky enough to light it.

"Look at that!" exclaimed Mr. Weasley in surprise, "I said I could handle them!"

However, probably due to his excitement, he moved his hand too much, causing the flame to quickly go out again.

"Uh..."

Mr. Weasley maintained his victorious stance, an uncomfortable expression on his face.

It was Hermione who finally went up to help Mr. Weasley light the fire.

The rest of the wizards didn't stand idly by either, as some made the fire, some gathered wood, and others busied themselves with the food, all working together to prepare breakfast.

Fish followed everyone to make fires and cook, and was not bored, but the two adults, Mr. Weasley and Professor McGonagall, were free.

Luckily, the Weasley's store was just off the main road that led to the camp, and every now and then Ministry of Magic officials would pass by and stop to chat, many of them finding someone familiar in the group of young wizards.

Soon after, Bill, Charlie and Percy came out of the forest and were startled to see so many people.

"Ha! Charlie and the others are here!"

The twins stood up and greeted the three, and gave them each a hug....

The Gryffindor students were shocked.

The twins and Percy didn't get along, that was the consensus of the whole house, so what was going on now?

"They've made up," Ron explained with a shrug, "Mum found out about the gadgets George and Fred were fiddling with and got mad because they were distracted by them and that's why O.W.L. grades weren't as good as they could have been, and..."

Ron continued with an incredulous look. "And then Percy defended them both, told Mum that George and Weasley's inventions weren't useless, and that she shouldn't deny them the fruits of their efforts..."

Ron smacked his lips and sighed with some regret, "If Percy had become like that before, I wouldn't hate him so much before, but he got more interesting and he's graduated."

Seamus and the others showed shocked expressions, as if they thought what Ron just said was a fantasy.

After Harry and Hermione finished listening, they unconsciously turned their gazes to Fish.

"What's the matter? why are you looking at Fish?"

(●?ω?●)?

Fish looked at the two of them with confusion, weren't we talking about Percy and the twins? why is it about me again?
