Fish wasn't at all interested in Professor Trelawney's repeated hints....
Because Divination couldn't help him find good food and fun things, and most importantly, Professor McGonagall didn't like him.
Professor Trelawney was not discouraged by Fish's lack of interest, because, in her opinion, the fact that Fish had chosen the Divination course was proof that he was interested in Divination, but he was reluctant to become a Diviner because of Professor McGonagall's slander.
Next, as long as he demonstrated the magic and greatness of divination in his lectures, it was natural for Fish to want to become a diviner.
Professor Trelawney, who had managed to fool class after class of students, still has a lot of self-confidence.
What she didn't know was that it wasn't a sudden interest in Divination that made Fish take the class, but a very simple reason for the cat to take it: because there was less homework in this subject.
Professor Trelawney, who had misunderstood Fish's idea, was in high spirits as she continued with her good-natured babbling performance, although she did not succeed in engaging Fish as much as she would have liked, several students were fooled by her.
Especially those few students whom she named and prophesied, because she said nothing good, one or two of them became extremely nervous.
Of course, there were those who believed and those who didn't.
Hermione, for example, and Dean Thomas and a few other students who had lived in Muggle society, and whose cultural upbringing and habits were different from those of wizards, made it easier for them to question something like Divination without clear evidence.
But Professor Trelawney had seen this before, and it wasn't as if she had never been challenged by students who weren't her target group in the first place.
She was even able to give a prediction that had a high probability of coming true, based on her past experience, "After the summer break, one of us will leave for good."
Having succeeded in silencing the students with this prophecy, Professor Trelawney put on a cheerful face and charged them with their task.
"Now, I want you to divide into groups of two. Each of you will take a cup of tea from the shelf, come up to me, and I will fill the cup with tea.... You can interpret the shape of the tea leaves in relation to pages five and six of 'Dispelling the Mists of the Future.'"
He instructed the group on how to do the tea divination and got up, grabbed the large copper teapot on the mantelpiece and prepared to pour the tea for the students.
And she did so, not without reason.
Trelawney had been watching for a while and had one goal in mind: when a nervous Neville got up to get the teacups, she grabbed his arm, "Before you break the first teacup, can I trouble you to choose a blue one? I really like pink."
Then Neville got even more nervous and successfully fulfilled Trelawney's prophecy by breaking a teacup.
The young wizards, who had been fooled, became even more convinced by Professor Trelawney, and the students, who had been skeptical, shuddered slightly.
Professor Trelawney had a knack for this, and was far more adept at fooling people than Lockhart.
But her ultimate target, Fish, wasn't interested at all.
It wasn't as if Fish had never seen the centaurs' successful prophecies, which had a much higher success rate than Professor Trelawney's.
But the kitten didn't care if the fortune telling was a trick or not, as long as it didn't help him find good food and fun stuff, it was a trick in Fish's eyes.
"Hoo.... hoo... hoo... hoo... hoo..."

Fish held the cup of tea he had brought from the shelf and forcefully blew the boiling water inside.
The aroma of the tea was a bit strong, but that didn't stop the curious cat from tasting a drink he hadn't had before.
After blowing on it for a long time,
When the tea had cooled a bit, Fish brought his mouth close to the cup and took a sip of the tea.
"Tastes good nya!"

The kitten looked at the cup in his hands with a twinkle in his eye.
In addition to tea, in England milk, sugar, honey, fruit, jasmine and other ingredients are added to make different types of black tea.
These include Duke's black tea, jasmine black tea, jam black tea and many more.
Trelawney added more ingredients than usual to make the tea stronger and to make students more easily dizzy and fooled.
This made her teapot much sweeter than normal tea, which naturally made it more popular with Fish.
Fish squinted and drank the tea from his cup, the tip of his tail twitched from his good mood, and the kitten's senses were instantly heightened by the divination lesson....
I can't believe they can drink tea during class!
For that alone, divination is in Fish's top three favorite classes.
"Sybil, can Fish have another cup of tea nya?"
?(●?ω?●)?
Fish lifted his empty cup and asked.
"Of course it's no problem, dear."
Professor Trelawney immediately grabbed the large copper teapot and ran to refill Fish's cup.
Hermione next door looked at this scene speechless....
The way Professor Trelawney had behaved had left her with little to look forward to in Divination class.
But as a good student who valued her grades, Hermione intended to follow the professor's instructions and complete the assignments in class, and as was standard procedure, she was to exchange tea leaves with her partner, Fish.
It was only when she looked at the kitten in front of her, who was refilling his cup and quietly sipping his black tea, that Hermione wisely opted to be self-sufficient....
She did as Professor Trelawney had instructed earlier, stirring the tea leaves in the cup three times with her left hand, then tilting the cup upside down on the tray and waiting for the last few drops to seep out before she began to decipher the shape of the tea leaves.
"Well..."
Hermione looked left and right at her teacup, realizing that, whichever way she looked at it, the leaves looked like a cat....
She didn't know if it was a mental thing.
Hermione looked shyly at Fish, but the cat was so engrossed in his tea that he didn't notice her.
This made Hermione feel a little bitter, but she also turned her attention back to deciphering the tea leaves.
Leafing through her copy of "Dispelling the Mists of the Future ", Hermione looked up the meaning of the cat-shaped tea leaves.
"The shape of a cat, symbolizing "the love of sensual pleasure, passion and grace". The cat's tail is tilted upward .... 'envied by others'... What does that mean?"
Hermione muttered as she flipped through the book, the latter was fine, she had been envied quite a bit lately... but the former was a bit vague.
"What do you mean by 'love of sensual pleasure, passion and grace'? Are you jealous because you're enjoying Fish's passions with grace?
That's the thing about divination, no matter how much you don't believe in it, you can't help but put your own experiences and unconsciously choose to interpret it in your favor.
Professor Trelawney, who had refilled Fish's tea again, heard her mutter and glanced over her shoulder.
Although Trelawney rarely appeared in front of the students, she knew all about what happened at Hogwarts, and she was definitely not ignorant.
After all, she had to rely on this information to come up with her own prophecy, not to mention the fact that Fish was the "successor" she had been following, so Professor Trelawney actually knew what had happened between Hermione and Fish on the train.
So she went along with Hermione's words.
"Oh, that means you've made some progress in your relationship lately."
Actually, Professor Trelawney didn't think Hermione's interpretation was correct at all, but since Hermione and the kitten were getting along, she didn't bother to make that clear.
Well, he was only fooling her, by the way.
Hermione's heart gave a little leap as she saw herself successfully fooled, and suddenly felt....
Divination class didn't seem as pointless as she had thought.
