Capítulo 13: Twelve: Namjoon
Crestfallen I fall down on my bed, face buried in the covers. How can everything turn out like it's going my way and then just like that I lost her in the icy cold water. Is she afraid of me? Am I reading this all wrong? Should I just ignore her? Why does it hurt so much if that question surfaces? The way my name sounded coming from her lips, had my heart beating in my throat. So fast that I thought that it would jump out of my chest. Acting normal around her is a complicated thought. I want to pin her to the wall and kiss her like no man had ever done before. I grunted at the thought. I stretched out my arm and took my phone from the bed table, wondering if I should be the first to reach out to her. My phone tinged, notifying me that I got a new WhatsApp message. I opened it up and were pleasantly surprised when her name popped up.
* Good evening, Namjoon. I'm terribly sorry about today. I feel like such a monster for running away without a proper explanation.
* It's all good. But seeing how you've mentioned it. Do you have an explanation for running off and leaving me in the dark?
* It's just that I feel uncomfortable when I'm around you and I'm not meaning that in a bad way either.
* That surely explains a lot. I was just beginning to think that it's because of my skin colour.
* I can assure you that, that's not a factor.
* I'm glad to hear that :). What are you doing now?
* I'm just laying on the sofa, talking to you. What about you?
* Same here. However I'm laying down on my bed. What are you doing this weekend?
* Not much, why are you asking?
* I know that we've only yet started talking. But I would like to spend the day with you, if you're up for it.
* Absolutely, that would be fun. Saturday I presume?
* Yes, you're presumption is correct. I can't wait.
* Neither can I. Good night Namjoon. Have a nice night.

I lay there stunned. She were actually the first one who started the conversation. To think that I were just about to start the conversation myself. She actually agreed to spend Saturday with me. What are we going to do? Where am I going to take her? What does she like and dislike? I should have asked! It doesn't help to panic and completely jeopardize this feeling that's warming me up from the inside out. I'll just have to ask her about it tomorrow. My first week of teaching at the university is at an end. Tomorrow is Friday. Time passes so quickly, it's hard to keep up with its pace.
