Capítulo 44: Naoki's rage (II)

~City Square~

Young girls in their numbers stood in straight lines, forming several rolls as they faced the stage.

Ten steps away from them, several soldiers in their warrior armour and armed with their double swords, stood watching them.

In the midst of the rolls of young ladies, was Haruka who managed to raise her head to glance at the stormy sky after gaining a little courage.

'It's going to rain,' She observed as her heart started to beat erratically in her chest.

What was she going to do if it started to rain now? Her hair… how was she going to take care of it?

Haruka was tempted to glance behind just to find her father, but she knew her movements couldn't be large otherwise, she would be attracting unwanted attention to herself.

She would have loved to see her father at least, to get the courage to continue standing there as she did not know what awaited her.
