On an old boat not far from Dawn Island in East Blue...
Dimi had changed boat as soon as he saw Dawn Island, he was currently testing his singing skills...

Dimi had obviously taken a liking to the singing, and as he was alone on his little boat he didn't feel embarrassed of himself, but even then if someone heard him now they would think that this child was an angel disguised in human form, but Dimi didn't realize it...
20 minutes later he arrived at a small port, in the port there was already a pirate ship, on the flag, there was a skull with three scars on the left eye...
''Shanks? Yes! I'm not late...'' Dimi jumped up as he docked in the harbor and put one foot on the dock.
He tied up his little boat right next to Shanks' crew boat, then ran into the village...
a sign caught his eye, {Party's Bar} inside the bar was full of various laughs and screams, Dimi was currently dressed like any normal kid, he didn't have a weapon on him, although he did have some in his inventory on ready, just in case.
Dimi approached the bar, he looked out the window and saw a child and a tall redheaded man sitting on stools in front of the counter, clearly Luffy already had his scar under his eye...
and... from what he could tell Shanks had an arm missing!
'Perfect.' he thought, this way he wouldn't change things too much between them...
finally, he entered the bar, suddenly everyone stopped laughing and turned to the newcomer.
''Hey! here comes another one, hey kid what are you doing here?" asked a fat man with glasses that didn't fit him...
Dimi didn't stop or answer, he just kept walking toward the counter as if nothing had happened.
Everyone was surprised that the young boy didn't answer, and even more surprised that he didn't even look at LuckyRoux he walked directly to their captain and looked him in the eye!
Dimi walked confidently and without visible hesitation, at the same time Shanks took a sip of his wine and looked at the boy with interest...
he arrived in front of Shanks and the first thing he said was. ''Red-haired Shanks, train me!''

''...''
'...'
There was a long moment of silence...
then suddenly, giggles and finally laughs broke out in the bar!
''uahahahahaha! Me training you? Why would I do that? Huh, kid?'' Shanks laughed directly.
Dimi didn't show any expression on his face, but deep down he felt a little silly for saying that...
''Why? It's simple because I want to be strong!'' Dimi answered almost instantly, but again there was no hesitation.
''you? Strong? Uahahahaahah, let me laugh! Why do you want to be strong? '' Shanks looked amused.
''Um, if I tell you, you'll have to train me,'' Dimi said as seriously as he could.
''yeah, Shanks train me too!'' Luffy shouted all at once.
''no way kid and that goes for you too Luffy!'' Shanks replied a little more seriously.
''but uh! Why do I want to be strong too!'' Luffy complained.
Dimi pretended to look in his pocket and pulled out his mother's notebook from the inventory at the same time.
''Remember, if I tell you, you'll have to train me! So here, take this, read it a little...'' Dimi handed him his mother's notebook, Shanks hesitated a bit before taking it and opening it skillfully despite his missing arm.
''I'm not promising you anything kid...'' Shanks' eyes widened as he read the name on the first page of the book. ''where did you get that kid?!''
''It's from my... it was from my mother, and now it's mine and my sister's... you must know her I'm sure!'' Dimi replied immediately.
''your mother?! Then your sister is Devil Chi...''
''don't call her that, she's still my sister...!''
''Wait! Wait, wait, wait! Your name is Dimi?! Dimi the phantom marksman?! '' Shanks asked again surprised.
''How did you know? The Phantom Marksman?! Don't tell me that...'' Dimi suddenly realized something!
''Yes, you appeared in the paper a day ago now, you can't stay in East Blue kid it's not safe for you, especially with that notebook, if I were you...'' Shanks looked worried...
''no! I wouldn't run away, not again...'' Dimi replied instantly, he didn't want to run away, he wanted this friendship with Luffy and Ace.
''Who's talking about running away? You just have to live somewhere other than East Blue, they'll be looking for you all over this sea, you won't be able to live peacefully.'' Yasopp had intervened in the conversation, his interest piqued when the words The Phantom Marksman were uttered.

Eventually, Shanks refused to train Dimi, but unexpectedly Yasopp was the one who had approached Dimi, perhaps he wanted to see Dimi's skills for himself. Or maybe he found it interesting to train a youngster like Dimi? Dimi did not know...
but he trained with Yasopp anyway, and he could see the difference between him and a real experienced sniper!
Observation Haki was no joke when it came to shooting!
Time passed as Yasopp and Dimi became friends... also Dimi became friends with Luffy, but it was only because Luffy had never really met another kid his age that he was 'intrigued' by Dimi, he even asked him to join his crew in the future, Dimi said 'maybe', but when Luffy found out that Dimi could sing and sing quite well, he pestered him to become his musician...
Then it was finally time for Shanks to leave, Yasopp went to say goodbye to Dimi, while Shanks went to Luffy and gave him his straw hat...
and so the legend of Mugiwara no Luffy was born before Dimi's eyes...
Dimi started towards Mount Corvo without looking back, he was going to live there from now on!

Dimi had been living alone on Mount Corvo for a month now, in fact he was living not far from the Damdam bandits... he had hidden in a base invisible to the naked eye, none of the bandits had the slightest idea that anyone was living near them and even less that he was living underground...
he had bought several pieces of equipment that allowed him to dig a hole deep enough in the ground, even he would have had trouble finding it if he hadn't had his x-ray vision!
the place was like a nuclear bunker, there was a hole hidden under a sliding trap door which itself was hidden under earth and grass, the place was twenty meters deep, and once at the bottom of the hole, the space was 20 square meters...
There was a sofa, a mini juice bar, also there was an armory...
Dimi knew that Ace and Sabo often passed through here, but the two of them never found any trace of an underground facility.
He also knew that Luffy would soon be caught by bluejam's men, so he often followed him from afar in the hope of rescuing him sooner than expected and making his introduction to the two brats...
