Mila was in pain. She knew from experience that she had to have frequent bandage changes in the early stages. She doubted the medical staff would replace the gauze with a new one. Fortunately, the whip had missed the most tender part of her chest.

The medical staff had cleverly made a backless bandeau that kept her modesty but allowed anyone to change her bandages. In this respect, White Claw was definitely better than Red Fang.

Upon recalling the punishment, she was sure that Rowan truly hated her.

Although he had skillfully whipped around her chest, he had applied the lashes with rage. Mila was surprised that he didn’t add any more extra whipping. She was grateful for the powerful painkiller she had been given earlier.

She had never been so grateful to feel almost numb. As she took in a breath, she could feel a burn. Her bruised ribs weren't a surprise.

She fell asleep.
