A woman dressed in red sat in a dimly lit room. She had blue eyes, brown curly hair, and a vicious smile on her lips.
She was clutching a photograph of a young girl.
"We haven't seen each other in a long time. I threw so many obstacles in your path, but you overcame them all." She looked at the photo with vileness.
""Did you miss me at all, dear?" She spoke as if she were conversing with the girl in the photograph.
"This time, I don't want to hear any excuses," she said as she picked up her phone and dialed the number. I've given you numerous opportunities, but you still can't take care of a woman. I want to see her miserable expression." She hung up the phone after giving the other end of the phone a command.
She got up and walked over to the window. The darkness outside the window was nothing compared to the darkness she carried within her heart.
"Angelina, I will never allow you to live a peaceful life. Be prepared for your worst nightmare is going to make a reappearance in your life." She began to laugh maniacally.
Her attention was drawn by a sudden ringtone of her phone. Her face went black when she looked at the called Id.
"What brings you to call me?" She said while seeming irritated.
"I've warned you before. Whatever you are doing with her, stop right now. Your stubbornness will ruin our entire family.
Her heart froze when she heard the other end of the phone call. What she didn't like was when people told her to back down and compromise. She was not frightened of other people.
"You don't have to be concerned about this. I'm very good with her. Why are you afraid of her?" she asked after a brief pause. "She is nothing, and I will force her to beg." She directly hung up the phone.
She took out a lighter and burned that young girl's photo. The orange glow of the burning flame reflected on her face, making her appear more viscous.
"I will burn all your happiness, just like this photo."

Angelina, on the other hand, was still sorting through her work because she had been on leave for two days and a lot of work had piled up.
Ring!!
The phone ringtone interrupts her workflow. She answered the phone without checking the caller ID.
"Did you finish your dinner?" On the other end of the phone, she heard a familiar but slightly tired voice.
Angelina paused the report file reading. She rubbed the space between her brows, having realized that she had always been bugged for not eating her meals.
"You appear to be exhausted. It must be a hectic day. Take some time to relax. You don't have to waste your time calling me." Angelina said this to divert his attention away from her meals.
When Andrew noticed the person on the other end of the phone trying to change the subject, he raised an eyebrow. He was aware that she was not having her meals properly. "I'm on my way to your office and will arrive in fifteen minutes." He said, in a playful tone, "So, Miss CEO, please allow me to make an appointment from your precious time."
"Okay. Bring me some delicious food. After all, you were my part-time nanny while I was in the hospital, so you must have known my preferences."
Andrew's lips curled into a smile. He was relieved by the fact that she had agreed to have dinner with him without being asked.
After hanging up the phone call. Angelina looked at the phone's screen, which had already gone black. She was perplexed as to why she agreed to have dinner with him. Yes, they were classmates, but they were far from comfortable in each other's company.
Anderson arrived at his destination. He paused outside Lucy's cabin on his way to Angelina's office. He knocked on the door and heard a voice from inside.
"Come in."
Lucy raised an eyebrow and folded her hand in front of her when she noticed who had entered the room.
"Mr. Anderson, it appears that you have forgotten how to get to my Boss's office."
Andrew rolled his eyes at her sarcastic remark. "Someone asked me to deliver the food to you," he explained as he placed the food package on the table.
Lucy's heartbeat quickened. She was well aware of who that person was.
"Please notify my manager that I have finished my task." He walked out of the room after saying that.
Following the completion of his task. Andrew took his time walking to Angelina's office. He slowly opened her office door without making a sound and peered inside her room. He noticed her absorbed in her work. He felt compelled to enter the office to see if she could detect his presence or not. He shook his head at the ridiculous idea. Entering someone's personal space without permission would not be a good idea.
"May I enter, Miss CEO?"
Andrew's head was squished between the door frame, and he was asking for permission like a child.
She scoffed at his childish antics. "Childish."
"Hmm."
After obtaining her approval, Andrew entered her office and sat down across from her.
Angelina had the urge to wipe out his grin from his face. She found it quite annoying as he was making fun of her.
"So have you brought my food?" Angelina asked.
"Yes, I have bought OUR dinner," Andrew said as he sat back in the chair. " Don't even think about kicking me out after you've got your dinner. I'm going to have dinner with you. Please take pity on me. I had a very busy day today, and now I really want to enjoy my food with a lovely lady."
Angelina rose from her seat, walked over to her office sofa, and took a seat.
"How come you're sitting there? "Please bring me some food." She gave him orders without hesitation.
Andrew thought she was being extremely impolite by asking him to serve her food without even saying thank you. She was truly a heartless woman. He was the one who liked everything about her so who could he blame, he sighed to himself.
"When are you going back home? You were just discharged from the hospital, and your body requires some rest." Andrew asked her after dinner.
Angelina could tell he was concerned about her health. Someone had delivered her lunch to her office in the afternoon, and she knew that he was the one who was behind this.
"There was a lot of work that piled up during my absence." She looked at him and noticed the dark circle under his eyes.
"It will take me about an hour to finish my work. Following that, I'll return home to rest."
Andrew creates a mental calculation to determine how much time she will rest/sleep. "OK, you finished your work. I'll be waiting for you here."
"You're going back home and resting. Before giving me a lecture, look at yourself. How many days have you gone without proper rest? If you don't go back and get some rest, don't even think about coming into my office." Her face was frowning as she said this.
Andrew was about to respond, but after hearing the final sentence, he shut his mouth. "Okay. I'm going to fall asleep at home. But you must guarantee that you will leave your work after an hour."
"I swear. You can take your leave now. I have to complete my work in an hour."
"Goodnight." Andrew walked out the door, muttering to himself.
Angelina found it amusing to watch him sulk like a child.

Angelina finishes her work after an hour, as promised, and prepares to return home for the rest of the day.
She heard a knock on the door and saw her assistant walk in.
"Boss, I have a question for you about Andrew," Lucy stated.
"It appears that you are very interested in that superstar Andrew," Angelina said, tilting her head. Every time you have a question about him."
"Please, boss, don't make fun of me. I'm dead serious. Lucy asked after a brief pause. " Don't you think it's strange that he was extra concerned about you?" Lucy asked after a brief pause.
"It's perfectly fine to take extra care of a patient," Angelina said after a brief pause. "After considering what you've said, I think it's strange to see him taking extra care of me."
Lucy's eyes sparkled as she noticed her boss had realized Andrew's true intentions.
"He's probably trying to win some brownie points. So I'll readily invest in his movie."
Lucy's face fell and she felt completely defeated in front of her boss.
