A group of over sixty people gathered on the street in front of an abandoned house. Blake stood there staring at the group, knowing that many of them might not make it all the way back. Such a group was too big and would be a big target, but he still vowed to himself to try to keep them alive. The people here ranged from all ages, from young to old. He knew most of them were hoping for a better life.
He looked at Mack, who was handing out guns to the men and women who were able to handle them, and felt slightly more relieved. As long as they can point and shoot, then maybe they would all have a chance.
