Capítulo 560: HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Things were good for a while in the palace, and for a moment, we forgot all about the undead. The whole kingdom seemed to be at peace, with a calmness settling over us as we prepared for the coming winter. It was a welcome respite from the chaos and fear that had consumed us for so long.

Raven was growing faster and becoming more accustomed to seeing all of us. He doesn't cry incessantly as much as he uses to and sleeps without a fuss this time around. 

Things were going so well in the palace, it became easy to forget about other troubles that we may have had going on. Right now, we were happy and I was contented with it. 

One lazy Saturday morning, when everywhere was quiet, the kind of quiet that made me want to linger under the covers a little longer. The warmth of the bed, the soft rustle of the sheets, and the gentle rhythm of my husband's breathing beside me made it all too easy to remain nestled there.
