Capítulo 373: ALL WAS NOT LOST

Something woke me up in the middle of the night. No, not something, someone. My eyes snapped open at the voice whimpering beside me in desperation, Arianne! I immediately sat up straight, turning over to look at Arianne who had curled up now shivering. I frowned as I looked at her with her brows furrowed tightly and pale lips moving rapidly. Sweat already clung to her skin which told me she must have been having the nightmare for quite a while now.

Were her shields down? I asked myself as I stared at her in disbelief. Another whimper escaped her lips and I reached for her, tapping her slightly but she still didn't wake. Drawing in a deep breath, I tried to reach for her, clawing my way into her mind. Perhaps, if I could get in there I could help her counter the forces that were disturbing her in her sleep.
