Capítulo 43: CHAPTER FORTY-THREE

I woke up to the smell of alcohol lingering around my nose and I waved my hand in front of my face to remove whoever was holding the alcohol in front of my face hand away. "What happened?!" I asked groggily as I looked around me in confusion.

I sat up straight on the bed and grabbed my spinning head. "You had another one of your blackouts." I leaned my upper body against the bed frame. What does she mean by blackouts? What's going on? "Are you okay?" My mother asked worried. "Can I get you something?"

"Yeah. I think so." I stated confused. "And no. I'm fine." I gave her a croaked smile. My head was hurting, and I don't know what's going on! The last thing I remember was being with Max but then Max, Max. He was not and, oh my God.

I jumped off the bed as I freaked out. How did I get here? What happened to Max? Where's Marie? How did they find me? What happened to me? So many questions stirred inside of my throbbing head and I couldn't find an answer to any of them.
