Capítulo 53: Chapter 53: The Demon Who Lost His Chains (Edited)

Yuri's business had been going well for two years, and all the turmoil was a foretaste of things to come for a man of his trade. Yuri's business started with just him and his brother Vitaly. Later, he was at least able to pay for a boat.

Yuri was very short of money. Of course, he had no strange addictions, his problem was women. Of course, there was no difference in the addictive nature of the two. The woman made his heart flutter.

Muggles can't force someone to fall in love with them, but money can be an effective way to bring them closer, and when they are closer, there are more opportunities.

It's a corny story. Ms. Ava received a business offer to go to an island for a photo shoot for the sum of £20,000, and when she arrives, the photographer backs out. Worse, the next flight out of the island wasn't until Tuesday.

But as luck would have it, Miss Ava met a kind and wealthy man who generously offered his private jet to fly the beautiful lady back to London.

The plane, car and suit are rented by Yuri, and the most successful of their relationships begins with lies and deception.

On the plane, the rich man accidentally discovers that he and Miss Ava are from the same city.

Finally, the beautiful Miss Ava and Yuri, who is engaged in international transportation, get together. The two move into the most luxurious house in London, only with crystal chandeliers costing tens of thousands of pounds, all of which nearly depletes Yuri's net worth, leaving him with a mortgage and exorbitant credit cards, all to maintain Ava's standard of living.

Ava sensed what was happening, but decided to accept it.

At Christmas 1991, she had a son. At the same time, there was a surprise gift from a man on television. Yuri received the most beautiful Christmas present.

He frantically kissed the greasy bald man on the screen, he probably did not even kiss his wife with such emotion.

Yuri soon calmed down and told his father that he wanted to see his uncle Dmitri again.

"I'm not a fool, Yuri, do you want me to believe you're going to Odessa to see them for refreshments?" His father firmly refused, not wanting to contact his brother about his son. "Is that how you want me to remember you?"

"I wouldn't want to be remembered," Yuri smiled, looked at his father for a moment and said, "If you remember me it means I'm dead."

As he booked his flight, his eyes wandered to a white pigeon in the house, which had been eating free food at home for months, and it was time to put it to work.

...

So Tom received a letter at lunchtime. At the table, Mr. Granger was waving the newspaper, gesturing excitedly, "The Evil Empire, the Cold War, it's over, damn it!"

Mr. Granger, who was usually very polite, actually uttered obscene language.

"It's a good thing, isn't it?" Hermione was a little happy, after all, in her upbringing, the red furry bear was always the villain Now that the bear was dead, shouldn't there be a round of applause?

Mr. Granger was silent, and after a few seconds said bitterly, "It's a good thing for the Americans, but for the British...hehe..."

Hermione was a bit puzzled: Britain and the United States are allies, and the two countries teamed up to kill the big villain, isn't this a good thing?

"The bird of prey is dead, the good bow is hidden; the cunning rabbit is dead, the dog is cooked." Tom helped Mr. Granger sum up the relationship between Britain and the United States.

"Britain is not the Britain of 40 years ago. When the only country in the world that can check and balance America disappears, it will blossom with real evil and the devil will come out."

If there is anyone who wants to let the bear die last, the UK can definitely take the first place. After all, once the bear dies, the little brothers who follow the American butt are useless. They have turned from allies into leeks.

There was a sudden silence at the table.

"Well, it's not something I need to worry about as a young dentist anyway..." Mr. Granger sighed and changed the subject, "There's a pigeon outside the window."

Tom looked: wasn't that my pigeon?

He opened the window and let the pigeon in. Tom pulled a letter from the pigeon's leg, opened it and read it carefully.

"Who wrote you that letter? is it a Christmas present?" Hermione was curious about the contents of the letter and poked her head in to take a look at it, but realized that it looked like something personal and that she shouldn't do that.

Tom folded the letter and, as Hermione hesitated, Tom finished reading it.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Granger, but I'm going to be away for a while." Tom had made up his mind.

"What is it? is there anything we can do for you?" asked Mr. Granger with concern as he straightened his back.

"Nothing, a friend invited me on a business trip. I might leave today and come back in about three days." Tom said.

The Granger family was obviously puzzled, this was a bit abnormal, and Mr. Granger had an answer in mind when he thought about the news he had just seen.

"Such a hurry? what's the matter? If it's not convenient to say, then forget it," Hermione said.

"A little side business." Tom replied with a smile.

It wasn't too complicated, Yuri had written to ask Tom if he wanted to go to Ukraine with him, to meet his Uncle Dimitri, and all Tom had to do was follow him. Yuri's idea was simple, take someone from the mysterious side with him so he wouldn't get caught up in all the strange witchcraft.

Tom agreed. Yuri could be of great use to him.

...

A day later, the two were already standing in the land of Odessa, Ukraine. Tom watches as Yuri talks to his uncle, breaking down his psychological defenses bit by bit, finally deciding to open the warehouses one by one and let his charming nephew help him "destroy" the tons of weapons.

Fresh meat doesn't attract just a fly.

Yuri and Tom were in the barracks tower, watching Uncle Dimitri talk to another old man. The driver of the two men was standing a short distance away, a cigarette in his mouth.

The old man's driver pulled out a strange lighter that looked more like a small wooden stick, which no one would have believed to be a lighter, but General Dimitri's driver accepted the absurdity of it: the confusion spell turned out to be a good one.

All this was seen by Tom. "Well, it looks like I really have something to do." He hurried down the tower.

"Empire!"

Years of fighting instincts had enabled Dimitri to detect the "driver's" movements, but he was too old to escape the spell. His mind was blank, and only one voice spoke to him: kill Yuri!

"But Yuri is my nephew!" Dmitri replied unconsciously, but the voice grew louder: Kill Yuri!

The voice repeated itself, getting louder and louder, and Dimitri eventually agreed to the suggestion. Just as he was about to return to camp, the white fog in his head dissipated and he was able to think for himself again.

"What the hell just happened to me?" Dmitri was shocked, had he tried to kill his nephew? had he gone mad?

But the smell of blood brought him back to reality: the arms dealer who wanted to do business with him had already fled in his car, and his driver lay in a pool of blood, with a beautiful golden red bird beside him.

Dmitri watched helplessly as the bird picked up a small wooden stick-like thing from the ground and flew away. And his nephew also ran a minute later, looked at the man on the ground who had lost his ability to resist, without a trace of emotion in his eyes.

The man's body entered the Black Sea along the Transnistria River. Tom and Yuri started their journey home.

It was a week before the end of the Christmas vacations.

On the plane, he examines the belongings left behind by the mysterious man: a wand, a pack of cigarettes, a bag of money and a small notebook.
