She slowly turned around, and the hairs on her skin rose in sudden fear.
The sound of a man's shoe abruptly began to sound, and the closer she felt the presence coming, the more the eerie feeling crept on her body.
"Who-who are you?" Her lips trembled as she asked, and long before she knew it, the unknown person was standing right in front of her.
She stared at him even though she couldn't see him, and her body quivered in deep anxiety.
Why was she feeling so frightened? It was as if she could feel something crushing her. She could feel the danger and the ill intent of whoever it was.
She swallowed hard and tightly balled her fists to control her emotions.
The stranger, whose features were still hidden in the dark, smirked and abruptly snapped his fingers.
The lights instantly came on and Lisa raised her head to finally glimpse who it was.
But the instant her eyes fell on the unknown person, her body stiffened and a look of terror emerged on her face.
_______
Diana glanced around the party room, and her brow crinkled deeply.
Why wasn't Lisa back yet? Could something have happened to her?
A deep frown appeared on her face, and she stood up from the stool.
She walked towards the exit door and pulled it open.
She stepped out and glanced around the area in search of Lisa.
"Hmm..." A bit of worry arose within her, and she proceeded to ask the receptionist.
She strolled toward the receptionist and the receptionist smiled warmly on seeing her.
"Hello, how can I help you?" She asked, and Diana half smiled.
"Um... hello. I am looking for my best friend, so I am wondering if you have seen her or anything."
She said, and the receptionist slowly nodded her head. "May I know how she looks?"
"Oh, she's brown-skinned with curls and gray eyes." She explained and even pulled out her phone to show her photo to the receptionist, but the receptionist simply shook her head in cluelessness.
"Sorry, miss, but I haven't seen her." She apologized, and Diana slowly nodded her head with a bit of disappointment on her face.
Just where could Lisa be? The worst is the fact that she doesn't even know which restroom she went to.
She pinched between her brows and proceeded to walk towards the one that she could find.
She arrived in front of the restroom and pushed the door open.
She stepped in, and her brows scrunched deeply on seeing that the light was turned off.
"Lisa..." she called as she pulled her phone out and turned the light on.
She examined the wall and quickly hurried towards the light switch she spotted.
She clicked it on, and the lights within the restroom instantly came on.
"Lisa..." She turned to look around the room, but her eyes widened in the next moment on spotting someone in the room and the phone in her hand slipped and fell.
She stared at the sink, specifically at the man leaning on it with his head thrown back as though he was meditating.
He wore a white mask on his face and a white hoodie with its cap covering his head.
"Hello..." Diana narrowed her eyes at him, unsure why a man would be in the ladies restroom, but the young man, who seemed to not have heard her, moved not an inch.
A slight frown settled in between her brows, and she bent down to pick up her phone.
She unhurriedly walked toward the young man and vigilantly gazed at him.
"Hello," she said yet again to get his attention, but the young man replied not.
Her brows puckered in deep confusion, and she walked closer to him.
She reached out her hand to tap him, but before she could touch him, the young man unexpectedly grabbed her hand and turned her round, pinning her on the sink and trapping her in between him.
Diana's heart skipped a bit in terror and the phone in her hand slipped off and fell into the sink.
She breathed heavily and her eyes blinked vigorously on seeing that the young man's eyes were shut.
"Didn't I tell you to leave me alone?" The young man suddenly yelled at her and, completely confused, Diana stiffened in shock.
What was going on? What was the young man talking about?
She gazed at him in confusion and her heart dropped to her stomach when he unexpectedly gripped her arms so tightly to the point it hurt.
"Hey! Let go of me! " She screamed at him, but as though oblivious to her words, his grip on her arms tightened even more.
Diana struggled to free herself from his grasp, but she found herself unable to.
His grip was just too strong that she couldn't even move.
"Let me go!!" She screamed at him yet again, but just like before, the young man ignored her, causing deep anger to arise within her.
Her face altered in rage at the pain he was inflicting on her arms, and she lifted her leg, then kicked him mercilessly on his crotch.
The young man's body shook in instant pain and his grip on her arms loose, giving her a chance to push him and rush out of his grip.
She hurried out of the bathroom before he could do anything and slammed the door shut.
"Shit! Shit! " She frantically glanced around in search of Lisa and panicked heavily within her.
