Gastone stopped at a clearing with flowers surrounding the area. It was a sight, and he planned to use it as a gate to the human world.
"Woah! This place is amazing!" Lucia exclaimed in awe. Her eyes twinkled while looking around, especially how the sun shined at a single spot.
"That's good," Gastone replied with a nod. He was waiting for a perfect time to open the portal.
"It will be nice to have a picnic here. It's secluded, too!" Lucia giggled before sitting on the ground, feeling the soft grass underneath her.
Gastone glanced at her. His mind imagined what it was like to picnic with Lucia and cuddle through the night while looking at the stars. He shook his head to remove the thoughts since he knew it wouldn't be happening anytime soon.
"What do you think?" Lucia asked. She wanted to know Gastone's opinion.
"Sure, why not," Gastone shrugged it off and turned around. He didn't want Lucia to see him liking the idea.
"If I survive, I will spend my whole life at the oven door seeing that no one is denied bread and, so as to give a lesson to charity, especially those who did not bring flour."
