Still, in the conference room, the President and his cabinet were deeply involved in the meeting. Opening the cabinets to what was going on remained a shock to them. However, deliberations, suggestions, clarification as well as disagreement were laid down.

"Mr President Just like the governor's suggestion, it'd be too late to begin the evacuation process but in the meantime, I think the 24-hour curfew would do" The Senate president suggested. He sat close to Yakubu, at the president's right hand.

"24 hours curfew you say" The Inspector General of police interrupted "But do we disclose what is going on to the public? Why we are enforcing a curfew" The IGP placed a question on the table. Everybody knew the answer to his question.

"That would be impossible. It would create panic in the public" The Minister of state affairs replied, glancing at the others who nodded at his answer.
