''Come in!'' Yelled Kyrean.
Kyrean heard a knocking sound on his door, he was currently reviewing a Pokémon battle between two ace trainers it was a battle between a Rhydon and a Electivire contrary to belief you'd think rhydon would've won due to the advantage over the typing but the electivire ended up winning due to the moves it used, the rhydon managed to shrug off a few hits and it even managed to hit the electivire once but right when it was about to use earthquake the electivire countered it with a low kick causing the rhydon to fall and with its massive bulk it dealt significant damage ending the battle right there. This Is one of the reasons you shouldn't always rely on a Pokémon typing to win you your battles as strategy matters a lot as well.
''Are you looking at recorded battles again? You seem to be doing that a lot lately.'' Said the man that just entered. It was his father Kylo Weaver, he was a tall man reaching a height of 6'4 while he wasn't exactly bulky he had a nice build due to always working out with his own Pokémon whilst they trained just to show them how dedicated he was alongside them. He had black messy hair that reached to the nape of his neck and brown eyes. Kyrean would like to think he got the best features from both of his parents it has after all earned him a few stares but he wasn't so worried about that since the only thing on his mind were Pokémon at the time.
''Well yeah I feel like I still have lots to learn and they provide that information...occasionally.'' Responded Kyrean while muttering the last part.
''You shouldn't rely too much on them, you're going to be learning way more by having the battles yourself trust me.''
''Anyway forget about that your mom and I have something for you, come down in about an hour will you?.''
After saying what he had to say Kylo left the room to leave his son in his thoughts, he had told him to come down in a hour just so that he can put up an air of mystery and suspense to get Kyeran excited.
Sigh
'There he goes acting all mysterious again, well there's nothing I can do I'll just watch a few more battles before I head down.'

After a quick shower and putting some clothes on he headed down stairs, he had been wearing pajamas still because he felt lazy, after all school just ended a day ago he wanted to spend all day in his room relaxing and happy to finally be released from that prison.
''Morning mom.''
''Morning sweetie, do you want to eat first before you get the present we have for you?'' Replied Arianna with a smile on her face.
'She seems more excited than me right now.' Thought Kyrean with a wry smile.
''I'll eat first, thank you.''
''Well alright, It'll be done shortly.''
After a while they finished eating their breakfast and washing the dishes Kyrean couldn't help but ask. ''Okay what's the gift?'' He couldn't help the small amount of excitement that seemed to make its way into his voice.
''Give me a second I'll go get it.'' said Kylo.
After a while he came back with a Pokémon egg in a incubator and setting it down on the table in front of Kyrean. ''That's for me?'' It was a dumb question he knew it but he couldn't help but ask either way.
''Yup! We managed to cash in a favor with someone we knew and they gave us this egg for your journey.'' replied Arianna in a chipper voice.
''Oh.'' Was all that came out of Kyrean's mouth to reply to his mother, after all he couldn't take his eyes off the egg. It felt weird? Like it was calling out to him and he felt himself responding in kind. After a few seconds of the weird interaction with the egg he managed to see a feint blue outline around the egg that slowly dimmed after a while.
''Haha are you that happy that you're at lost for words?'' asked Kylo while looking at Kyrean's expression, it looked like he was in a daze so he decided to throw a playful jab at him to get him out of his reverie he was in.
''Ah oh no, it just felt weird like the pokemon was trying to communicate with me? Im not sure, I know it sounds weird but thats the feeling i got when i looked at it sorry for dazing out."
''It's alright no need to apologize for something like that, that just means we made the right choice heh?" In truth Kylo wasn't sure what Pokémon would suit Kyrean best to start his journey off with, he was thinking of a dragon type at first but that didn't seem practical for a beginner and they take awfully long to evolve compared to other Pokémon, then he thought of something easy to train but he felt like a bug type was a little underwhelming so he tried his hardest to find him something powerful while not being so hard to train at the same time like the royal Pokémon but he couldn't get his hands on those since they were all reserved and he wasn't going to present his son with a mediocre one and after months of search it finally paid off and he managed to cash in a favor just a month ago, the egg was finally delivered yesterday as well.
''Can i take it with me to my room?'' quickly asked Kyeran since he wanted to see what the deal with the egg was it got his adrenaline pumping.
''Well its still an egg so it's not like you're going to do much with it but whatever, it won't hatch until about a week later by the way.'' replied Kylo
''Do you want to know what Pokémon will hatch?''
Kyrean was grabbing the incubator to take to his room when he heard his mother asking him the question to which he instantly replied. "Nope! I wanted to be surprised, thank you for the present!" said Kyrean while running off to his room and making sure he didn't trip or anything fearful of slipping and harming the egg even though it was in the incubator.

That was all a week ago, back then he hadn't been inhabiting this body so his previous self didn't know what exactly the blue outline was but he knew! It happened to Ash before as well, an egg calling out to him because it sensed his aura while he was during a Pokémon battle.
He might've not been in a battle but there was no mistaking that connection once you've felt it that's for sure. Even though the previous him didn't know what the feeling was he still sat close to the egg almost every day for the past week trying to decipher what it was and during that time he could feel the emotion of the Pokémon within and now it was finally time for it to hatch!
"No way a Riolu!" exclaimed Kyrean even though he had a feeling what it was going to be, finally being able to see his future partner and starter Pokémon with his own eyes hatching out of an egg was a surreal experience for someone who never thought they would be experiencing it.

mow Hope the introduction to aura made sense here, i went back to do some minor editing in the previous chapter just so it didn't seem like a plot hole. Probably the last time I'll be doing that so sorry about that. and Hope you enjoy the chapter. And as usual please comment to make me know of any mistakes.
