"Your Grace, we win battle by killing the enemy in front of her. Right now, the situation is different," Rainard stated. "I don't wish to see my Mother started crying in front of me if I confront her. I'm worried about those things more," he stated.
"Rainard, you need to be tough if you truly desire to be with Tove. Your mother knows that you have never been swayed by the women she organized your meetings with. First, make sure she doesn't send Tove away. Second, tell Tove what you feel and assure her that she doesn't leave you because of society. Third, convince your mother of the ways you seem necessary. Be gentle and don't get angry under your emotions," Édouard elaborated to him.
"I comprehend, Your Grace," Rainard acknowledged.
"Consider speaking to your father about this, Rainard. He might be able to offer some assistance," Damien suggested.
"My father isn't fond of Tove; his views align with yours," Rainard remarked, his gaze fixed on Damien.
