Charlotte told Mrs. Thatcher that she would help her with the dinner, but she kept refusing. "This is wrong, Mrs. Thatcher. Despite the town's mayor's wife, you cool the meals by yourself. I was feeling bored the entire day. I request you to let me assist in cooking the dinner," Charlotte complained first and then finally succeeded in convincing the mayor's wife.
"I didn't want the Princess to work here since she is our guest," Mrs. Thatcher said.
"I am, but sitting idle for hours and doing nothing makes me lazier and sleepy," Charlotte explained to her as she took the vessel to soak the rice in them.
Mrs. Thatcher complimented Charlotte for being so down-to-earth. "No one from the royal family does such work, Your Grace," Mrs. Thatcher affirmed as he placed the wok on the stove. She was preparing to cook the chicken soup.
