Capítulo 146: Trust me or his minister

After a sweet love-making session, Édouard and Charlotte had a bath together. However, Charlotte ended up falling asleep in the bathtub. He didn't wake her up instead he carefully took Charlotte out of the bathtub and made her lie on the bed.

He dressed into a satin robe and made Charlotte wear the same before covering her from the blanket.

Édouard laid down next to her with his face toward her. "She looks pretty," Édouard murmured and shut his eyes after moving close to her.

He was a bit stressed. There was no news from Alkmeer yet. He hoped that the spy would bring any useful information to him. It was necessary for him to reach the truth as soon as possible.

A part of him was still in regret for inflicting so much pain on Charlotte. Unless he unveiled the truth, he would only be in regret.

His eyes opened and admired Charlotte. There was a time when he used to do it from afar and would get hurt internally. Now, no such thing existed.
