Capítulo 10: Unnamed
After waking up Edward stayed still as even breathing hurt after a whole minute of slowly moving was he able to sit up.
"They really did a number on me didn't they."
"Yes they did" startled by the voice Edward searched around the room only to stop when he saw the man of steel standing at the door holding a bag of food.
"When did you get here?" Edward spoke while rubbing the back of his head where the mystery lady hit him.
"Just a bit ago also I asked flash to pick up some food for you, here" Superman handed me the greasy bag that was surprisingly still warm as if it was just made a few minutes ago and before the man of steel could speak I started eating the food as if I hadn't been feed in days I mean honestly living on a island for a year and then being locked up really makes you miss fast food.
After I finished my food superman asked me to follow him and I obliged as he was the reason I'm not in a cell currently, a few minutes of walking we made it to a large room and only now did I truly realize we were in space as the view of earth was breathtaking.
A few hours of talking I was placed under Superman's tutelage and I was to help 'patrol' metropolis aka behave and listen to orders.

Putting on my gear I was taken to a 'war room' aka a large room where business is only allowed and fun will be curb stomped till it says uncle.
"Ladies and gentlemen I would like to introduce you to our new power house Edward."
Every high ranking officer in the meeting looked Edward up and down as if there were scanning him each thinking on what his skill was such as if he was an expert in combat or logistics and by the grace of god make him decent at reports.
A younger officer raised his hand to catch the chef's attention only for him to ignore him and turned to a board.
"Save your questions for last officer Howard, now we'll be entering-"
During the meeting I was given multiple objectives as I had enough "manpower" as he said to do them but…. He gave me all cleaning jobs and coffee trips and I don't mean my clones I mean me personally and when I brought these up they claimed it was to build 'character'.
"Alright let's get the equipment ready and make sure your vehicles are ready, you are all dismissed"
Right as I steeped out I caught Howard still easing his hand even when he was the last one left in the room a pity really.
"Edward" the sergeant called out to me and handed me a bag filled to the brim with clothes and toys for the children's hospital we were going to visit.
"Make sure you don't lose these or they will be docked from your pay"
"I'm getting paid???"
The sergeant was no where to be found
