The next day, since the morning, Anne had been talking nonstop about the ball but Asher happily listened to her.

Well…He couldn't deny that all he heard was how excited she was to go to the ball...and try out all the desserts. She sounded hungry too. She must have fallen in love with party fancy food when she attended balls before. Or else...why would she be so obsessed with food at a ball?
