"Duke...it's alright. I...understand your feelings. It will be okay."

Asher mumbled out, trying to clear his head so he could give the duke some support. He was afraid if he were sound shaken too, the duke would be even more upset. He wanted to make the atmosphere calm in the ambition of wishing it would make the duke calm down too.

But still, all he had to comfort was, 'it will be okay.'

But, at this point, Asher didn't know how things would be okay even though those words had already left his mouth. They were just some words that didn't really carry its meaning other than the purpose of trying to comfort the duke.

Listening to this sudden twist in the story, it would be an understatement to say he was shocked. He was more than shocked, confused and yet interested to know the whole story as to how it became that way.

Was it exactly what he was thinking?...

Recovering from the shock, Asher continued to comfort the duke.
