YanJun has heard many constructive sincere comments about his appearance but this felt strangely different for reasons he was too busy ignoring the man's words to take note.
For the first time since he arrived, he got the opportunity to see the outside world. there was a garden below the window of his room and the balcony door was always locked. He never had the opportunity to breathe in the fresh air.
"I will show you the other parts of the house," the man told him as they stepped out of that door, he tried opening the first day he walked around this wing.
The other parts of the house were completely different from the part of the house he stayed. It was the ideal modern house he would have owned if he was not bent on saving his money to start his business after retiring although it would not be a quarter of the size of this billion-dollar worth mansion.
The part of the house he stayed in was at the back of the house and when they got to the central house, he was forced to part his lips in both awe and admiration. Many women around the world will be willing to lose a limb to be the second head of such a home.
"You are free to go around as you please," he gave him that permission he was waiting so patiently. The man took him around the house and when they got to the front door, he was forced to stop to take a breath.
He turned to the man in confusion as the question on his mind escaped his lips unable to remain hidden, "Why did you build such a house?"
Mingyu turned to the gorgeous man standing beside him and the beauty forced him to turn to look at him properly. He moved close to him as adjusted his hair dotingly.
YanJun blushed wondering what came over him that made him ask such a question. The attention that came with the question he asked was far from what he expected. He glanced at the guards dressed in black around and his face only got redder.
"I began building it when I earned my first billion," the man began narrating. "It is a good luck house. It was to bring luck to me because this land has good energy and I made a few more billions shortly after the construction started."
"You told you?" he scoffed. Whoever told him that was most likely the owner of the land to get him to buy it.
"I was told to build it as big as I wanted my business to be in comparison to a house. I did not hesitate to give the best architect in the world the job. I told him I wanted a house that could accommodate everyone in my mum's village."
YanJun pouted wondering why he avoided his question. When his cars drove to the front of the house, he was forced to enter the same car with him.
"You will not want to believe me but I became the billionaire I am because of the good luck energy from this house. I broke world records with how fast I became rich."
There was almost no one in the country who did not know him and even if they did not know him, they knew some of the things he developed. He glanced at the man who caught his attention better than the beautiful landscape outside the car.
He was sitting in the car with a world-recognized genius who had the whole world respecting his abilities. He made money with innovations that many thought was completely impossible.
The realization only made him aware that he was dealing with someone very intelligent as well as dangerous. It will be very difficult to deceive such a person.
"I see that you admire me as much as many youths do," he commented glancing at YanJun.
YanJun turned away and looked at the trees on the side of the road as they drove past them.
"It is okay to do so. Some say I am not human but they would all go crazy to discover that I am a man who falls in love," he murmured playfully.
YanJun turned shocked to hear that. What was the thing about love? He gave the man a questioning look. "Do you want everyone to know about us?"
The man chuckled and nodded. "Of course," he laughed as YanJun looked shocked as well as horrified. "You don't look happy about it."
He was unable to say anything because all he could come up with were curses, he seriously wished he could let out of his lips as desired.
The man held his chin and turned him to meet his gaze. The man's fingers rubbed his lips lightly as he looked into YanJun's eyes. He saw boldly that the young man did not want to be associated with him.
"Some years ago, a young boy told me never to give up. He told me I could get whatever I wanted and I believe him," Mingyu narrated solemnly. His eyes looked at YanJun's cherry-shaped lips and he could not help but swallow. "He was right because I got everything I wanted. I survived and he survived too. He knew I wanted him when he told me that."
YanJun was so lost. None of what the man said made sense. It felt like he was given pieces of a puzzle with the original picture to guide him.
"You look confused," the old man told him as he pulled away his hand and rested with his eyes closed as though taking a peaceful nap. He looked so calm and in control of his emotions that YanJun was left feeling more confused. "You will understand soon, hopefully," the man added in a whisper.
YanJun swallowed and turned away. He rested his head against the headrest and tried to ease the strong feeling of confusion that man's words awakened in his mind.
He wondered why the man did not take the boy he wanted but took him instead. He wanted to ask but he was scared that he will make the man displeased.
