He slept like a baby but the man holding him, could not sleep until he suppressed the desire holding YanJun awakened. Before sleeping, he pulled the younger man into his embrace letting him rest on his body.
He never knew that one day he will get to hold that boy like this again. It brought back a flood of both painful and beautiful memories. "I am glad I protected you," he whispered before pressing his lips on the boy's head for a smacking his.
The younger man stirred further into the warm arms as he has always been held like that. The body was familiar but the mind was not.

What the hell was he snuggling into? YanJun almost lost his mind. He tried escaping those arms but he made no progress.
"I did not sleep early, stop moving," the man complained making him freeze. "You could continue sleeping if you wish."
YanJun could not remember when last he slept for this long after becoming a trainee. He raised his head to look at the man's face. He looked so handsome; he could almost swear that he had freshened up.
"You could also look at my face for as much as you want," the man said making YanJun close his eyes like he never spent the past few minutes wondering how the man was so handsome and tough looking at the same time.
The man chuckled softly but YanJun could feel the vibration in his chest.
"You are so cute. I think my son will like you," the man said softly as he rubbed YanJun's back like petting a little child to sleep.
"How did you have a son when you are into men?" YanJun murmured under his breath not expecting the man to hear him.
"I needed a son and I had one at the right time," he replied calmly shocking YanJun almost out of his mind, he almost stood up and kowtow for forgiveness. "Don't worry about having a rival, I will not let anyone come into my life with you on my side."
The more the man spoke, the more YanJun wanted to leave so badly. "I need to use the bathroom," YanJun told him firmly as he tried to get away.
The man released him as soon as he spoke. "I will be waiting for you then."
YanJun rested his back against the door of the bathroom. When he stepped out of the bathroom, the man who claimed he will be waiting must have gotten impatient, the room was empty. He could finally exhale in relief.
He glanced at the door as he walked to his bed. He had to say the man was so funny to take what he explained seriously enough to make this room for him. He fell onto the bed and looked at the painted ceiling.
It was all wealth because no one would be able to own such a house even if it was for the person, he loved more than himself. He had the money and did not hesitate to spend it where he felt it was fit to.
He inhaled, the bed had Mingyu's scent and he could guess that this will not be the only night he will have to sleep in the man's arms. Well, that was all in exchange for a little freedom.
He took his bath before having his breakfast. Ye Miao came as usual with the ladies to clean up the table.
"I will like to eat with the master every morning," he told her seriously.
"I will speak to the master," she replied. she will have to get permitted by the master of the house, first.
He nodded. "I will also speak to him but I don't have a phone with me and he was gone earlier this morning," he told her with a comfortable smile.
"I will speak to the master," she repeated.
YanJun smiled and looked at his fingers. She seemed to be trying to create a wall between them. She was not this reserved when they spoke earlier. "It is okay, then."
She bowed and walked out of the room. He looked at her departing back and he raised his head afterward to stop his tears.
This experience broke him. He was trying to be strong by ignoring those thoughts but deep down the realization that no one loved him as much as he thought they did, still gripped his heart in its claws.
In the past seven years, he learned to be as selfish as he could to protect himself but that never applied to his friends and his family. He still loved them and protected them when needed.
All those he strongly believed will be with him in the most painful parts of his life including the many fans who supported him, had abandoned him brutally.
The little hope he held that his girlfriend might be hurt or in any other situation that made her unable to help remained but the more he watched the TV without any news of his disappearance, was slowly taking away the hope he held strongly unto.
The door opened after a single knock and he was taken aback as he looked out of the window to hide his tears. He never knew he was sensitive enough to let the fact that a woman was trying to keep her distance could make him cry.
Humans are known to change depending on their situation and environment and he was changing. A hand gripped his wrist and pulled his hand away from his face.
He met the man's brown eyes and this time; he could not deny that he saw sadness in those fierce eyes. The man released his wrist and cupped his face before squatting in front of him.
The man smiled sadly before placing a kiss on his forehead. He pulled away and mopped YanJun's tears. "I don't want to see you cry, please," the man begged although his voice was cold and distant. "What happened to you?"
YanJun bit his lower lips but the tears simply poured down his cheeks despite how hard he tried to stop them. He tried to look away in embarrassment but the hand holding his face did not let go. "I . . ." he choked painfully.
Mingyu released his face and hugged the younger man. He never wants to the reason behind his tears. He was unwilling to see him hurt and it pained him to know that he was the devil of it all.
He almost wanted to tell him to leave and release but remembering the promise they made, he only tightened his hand around him and rubbed his back soothingly.
