"Liam..."

"Call me husband." Tara Summer wanted to scream, but she saw that the man had already stepped back. He caressed her cheek, his voice deep and seductive.

"I... husband." Seeing that he made no further move, Tara blurtedly called out, hoping that he would lie down and rest soon.

Liam Yancey's thin lips curved up in satisfaction, he hummed in approval before releasing her to lay down on the bed, "Let's sleep together."

He held her slender waist, pulling her into his arms, and Tara smiled. Her cheek pressed against his chest, listening to his steady breathing, feelings of reassurance overcame her.

She closed her eyes as everything went tranquil, but just as the curtains of sleep began to descend, his hands once again began to wander on her waistline.

Tara frowned but then heard him say close to her ears, "Don't you miss me after all this time of not touching you?"

His words were explicit, Tara jolted and her face burned as her eyes flew open.
