Capítulo 5: Chapter 5 - Yakushi Kabuto.

Office of the director of the orphanage.

"It's good to see you again Yusuke-kun, you haven't been here for a long time, we were worried," the woman sitting opposite Yusuke said with a gentle smile on her face.

Her name is Yakushi Nono, a woman with emerald eyes, black round-rimmed glasses, and shoulder-length light brown hair covered by a white hood. Wearing a black loose dress with a white apron and sandals on her feet. If you do not know her past, she can easily be mistaken for an ordinary resident of Konoha, who, out of the kindness of her heart, wants to help children. And although there is no doubt about her kindness, Yuusuke was well aware that the woman sitting in front of him was far from a harmless woman.

Yakushi Nono was once a member of the ANBU division of the Root of Konoha. She was an expert in intelligence gathering, but left the organization to work at a small orphanage instead. However, Yuusuke knew that Danzo would not leave her just like that, with his vile nature and cunning personality, it would be a miracle if he just fell behind.

"Yusuke-kun since you haven't been here for a long time, you may not know it, but for some reason Konoha cut our allowance. Considering the fact that we recently accepted a few more orphans, this is just a disaster," a fat nun named Keiri complained to Yusuke with a heavy sigh. In addition to the director of the orphanage, Yakushi Nono, there were only two people in the staff, the fat nun Keiri and the thin old man Kanpu. They volunteered to help Nono run the orphanage.

"Director Nono, here's a small gift from me to the orphanage, please accept it," Yuusuke took out a bundle of money he had prepared in advance and put it on the table. The package contained a small amount that Yuusuke could afford to donate to charity. How could he not know about the orphanage's problems, moreover, he knew who was responsible for the reduction of these resources.

But being a ninja, Yuusuke has a good income. So he has no problem giving some of it to charity. However, Yusuke did it for a reason, he had a goal and this money could help him a little in achieving it.

"Thank you Yuusuke-kun, if you didn't help us, maybe these kids' lives would be much worse. It's a pity that there are very few people like you, otherwise we could provide the children with everything they need," Nono did not refuse Yuusuke's gift, she gave everything she had to the orphanage and even with this she had to work hard in the hospital to support shelter. She herself had little interest in money, but they were necessary for the children.

"You're exaggerating Director Nono, but didn't you want to teach children medical ninjutsu so that they could give first aid to the injured and thereby help the orphanage cope with financial problems, how is this going on? Have there been problems? Yusuke asked in a seemingly casual tone.

Hearing his question, a satisfied smile appeared on Nono's face: "All the children study hard, it won't be long before they can go to work in the village with me. Especially recently adopted by Kabuto, this kid proved to be very talented in medical ninjutsu, I'm afraid it won't be long before he becomes better than the average medical ninja."

"It's rare to hear such high praise from you, can I see this boy?" - Yusuke asked, showing surprise and extreme interest on his face.

Director Nono naturally did not refuse Yusuke's request and took him to where the children were currently training. All these orphans did their best to master the medical jutsu as quickly as possible and be able to help their beloved headmaster.

Medical ninjutsu ("Medical Ninja Techniques") is a branch of ninjutsu related to healing, as well as manipulation of one's own, or the body of another person, practiced by ninja, categorized as "medical ninja". The use of medical ninjutsu requires very advanced chakra control, as well as extensive knowledge of things such as herbs, medicines, the human body, and even poisons.

One of the most famous techniques in medical ninjutsu, the Mystic Palm Technique, allows the user to heal wounds by concentrating their chakra in their palms. The better the user is trained, the more difficult the wounds he is able to heal. Such a jutsu is very useful in combat, as it does not require any special medical equipment or tools. However, to master such a technique, fairly good chakra control is required, so only highly trained medical ninja freely use this technique.

Upon entering the training room, Yusuke stopped and looked around. Not much time passed before the purpose of his visit fell into his field of vision. With long ash gray hair tied in a small ponytail, with round-rimmed glasses Nono had given him, Kabuto was currently standing with a focused face, trying to heal the wounded fish in front of him.

Surprisingly, while the rest of the children learned first aid techniques. Kabuto had already begun practicing advanced medical ninjutsu techniques. A few minutes later, chakra appeared on the tip of his finger and Kabuto took several needles and began to stick them one by one into the fish. Shortly after Kabuto finished his acupuncture, the half-dead fish began to twitch just as briskly as if it had just been fished out of the river.

"Is he already capable of using such advanced techniques?" Yusuke asked Nono, who was standing next to him, in a slightly surprised voice.

"Yes, his greatest accomplishment is stimulating acupuncture points for healing. This type of healing requires extremely strong chakra control and a flexible mind to properly use different stimulations for different injuries," Nono replied while looking at the diligent Kabuto.

"Headmaster Nono, I have one request for you, I hope you agree to fulfill it," Yusuke said slowly.

"Yusuke-kun, you helped a lot of our orphanage, without your help, it would be extremely difficult for us, as long as it is reasonable, I will do my best to grant your request," Nono replied with a smile on her face.

Yusuke looked at little Kabuto, who was preparing to continue his training with a new half-dead fish and said: "Headmaster Nono must confess to you, this boy's talent impressed me a lot and if possible, I would like to take him as my student and take him from the orphanage to yourself home. Although I'm not a medical ninja myself, it's not hard for me to say that he has an incredible talent for chakra control. Therefore, it would be a pity to waste his talents here."

Hearing Yuusuke's request, Nono stared at him for a while, then smiled, "If it was someone else, I would think twice before deciding, but knowing you, I think I can trust you," finishing speaking, Nono looked at Kabuto the way a mother looks at her child. Her eyes were full of motherly love and affection, "Now everything depends on Kabuto, I will respect his choice."

At that moment, as if sensing her gaze, Kabuto turned around and looked at the headmaster. Nono smiled and waved at him, gesturing for him to come over. Seeing Nono waving at him, Kabuto became overjoyed and quickly ran towards her.

"Director, do you need my help?" asked a joyful Kabuto with a childish smile on his face.

Nono stroked Kabuto's head and smiled, "Let me introduce someone to you, his name is Uchiha Yusuke and he wants to take you on as a student to teach ninjutsu, what do you think about it?"

"When I become his student, will I still live in the orphanage with the director?" Kabuto asked with a slightly worried face.

"Becoming my student, you will live in my house, of course, you can visit the director and your friends from the orphanage in your free time," instead of Nono, Kabuto answered Yuusuke.

Hearing from Yusuke that he would not be able to stay at the orphanage next to Nono, Kabuto quickly shook his head, "If that's the case, I refuse. I don't want to leave the director." For Kabuto, Nono was like a mother, the only person in his life who gives him warmth. Therefore, no matter what, he did not want to be separated from her.

Not accepting his refusal, Yusuke sat down and patted his head, "Kabuto, think about this, if you follow me, you can learn many useful ninjutsu and become a strong ninja. Then you can really help the director share her worries, and not be a burden, as you are now.

When Yuusuke finished speaking, Kabuto turned around and looked at Nono, "Headmaster, am I really a burden to you?" In response, Nano hugged him and hugged him gently, "Of course not, Kabuto, it's just that Yusuke-kun doesn't know how much you've done for the orphanage." With those words, she looked at Yuusuke with slight resentment in her eyes.

Yusuke smiled wryly, giving Nono an apologetic look, and didn't say anything else. He didn't really want to call Kabuto *a burden* himself, but he had to goad him with his own words to make sure the boy agreed to become his apprentice. Knowing how sensitive and meticulous a child Kabuto was, Yusuke was more than confident in his method.

At this time, Kabuto gently pulled away from Nono's embrace, and although he loved the feeling of security and warmth, he knew that he had to make an important choice.

"Headmaster, I really want to help you with the orphanage and I think by becoming a strong ninja I can do it," little Kabuto said looking at Nono. The woman smiled back and nodded, "If it is your decision, I will accept it. Now that you've become Yusuke-kun's student, try to work hard and don't let his expectations down."

Nodding vigorously, Kabuto turned to Yuusuke and waited. Seeing this, Yuusuke stood up and said in a serious voice, "Yakushi Kabuto, from now on, you are officially my student. I Uchiha Yuusuke promise to take care of you and train you, I will be very demanding and show no mercy if you do not live up to my expectations!".

When Yusuke finished, Kabuto bowed slightly in respect as Nono had taught him, "I will definitely do my best to meet your sensei expectations!" Looking at the little boy, Yusuke smiled widely, "I'm more than sure that you can do it!"

After that, Kabuto reluctantly said goodbye to all his friends from the orphanage and followed Yuusuke. Since Yusuke had to be in the Hokage's office at noon, he put Kabuto on his back and quickly made his way to the house.

"Yusuke-kun, that kid you said you wanted to take as a student, what a cute girl?" Hazuki said while looking at Kabuto on Yuusuke's back.

"I-I'm not a girl, I'm a boy!" Kabuto corrected her, blushing. In truth, at his age, it is difficult to tell a girl from a boy, especially if the child has such regular features and thin eyebrows as Kabuto.

Hazuki covered her mouth with her hand, making a surprised expression and then smiled, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, but you're still cute, okay, from now on, call me Hazuki-san!"

"Where is Izumi?" Yuusuke asked without seeing his sister.

"She went to play with her friends," Hazuki waved her hand back.

"I see, then take care of Kabuto, I still have to meet with the Hokage," Yuusuke said as he lowered Kabuto to the ground. In response, Yuusuke's mother nodded and told him not to worry.

Before leaving, Yuusuke took a scroll from his pocket and handed it to Kabuto, "There are some basic jutsu in here, you can learn them while I'm away." Kabuto took the scroll from him and nodded with a serious expression.

Looking at the figure disappearing into the distance, Kabuto turned around and saw that Hazuki Uchiha was looking at him with a smile. The warm feeling he experienced when Nono took him to the orphanage reappeared.

"It seems I made the right choice." Kabuto couldn't help but feel hopeful for the future and decided that he would study hard and soon become an outstanding ninja to repay the headmaster and teacher for their trust
