Part 9.
Hm, it turns out that my cousins have their own rooms. I saw near the kitchen there was also one room, that must be Mbok Titin's room. And at the front there is a room that is also large, it looks like this is the main room.
Tinn... tinn...
The sound of a horn interrupted my thoughts. There was a car waiting outside the fence. Aunt Titin jogged to open the fence. As soon as the car entered the yard, I saw Sis Maya and Sis Mila getting out of the car.
"Ahh, it's really fun to be them! Sis Maya already has her own car, I said to myself.
"Assalamu'alaikum," said Sis. Mila.
"Wa'alaikumsalam," we answered at the same time.
"Ahh, there's Vira! Come here, what's wrong?" said Sis Mila while sitting next to me.
"Hm, at least ask for help again!" said Sis Maya with a cynical face.
"Mayaa! How come you talk like that!" said Uncle Iwan.
"You sit down first, listen to Mama's explanation!" said Aunt Nur to her two children.
"Starting today, Vira lives with us! She just graduated from SMA Negeri one!" said Aunt Nur.
"What... live here?" asked Sis Maya surprised.
*****
"Just leave Vira here, because the school is closed!" Auntie explained.
"Then who pays for the school?" asked Sis Maya angrily.
"Why do you ask like that? Aunt Safitri is in trouble, so we should help to lighten the burden!" Uncle Iwan's advice to Sis Maya.
"Oh-yes, Vira, you haven't answered Auntie's question, who do you want to sleep with?"
I was silent and did not answer Auntie's question. Hearing Sis Maya's cynical words, I definitely don't want to share the same room with her. Then with Sis Mila, I was reluctant because I was not familiar.
"Can Vira share a room with Aunt Titin?" My question surprised Uncle Iwan and Aunt Nur.
"Ahh, really, Vir?" asked Auntie.
"Yes, it's okay, Auntie! So that every morning Vira can help Aunt Titin, doing homework.
"Are you sure, Vir?" asked Uncle Iwan.
"Vira is used to being in a house like that, Uncle!" I said reassuring them.
"Hm, that's good, so it's not like the big lady in this house!" sarcastically Sis Maya.
Uncle Iwan looked sharply at Sis Maya, then said. "You can't be arrogant like that, Maya! Vira is your brother, speak politely!"
"That's right, it's hot, I want a fresh drink!" Sis Maya walked to the kitchen.
"Okay, Vira, if you're comfortable like that, then whatever!" said Aunt Nur.
"You rest, take the luggage to the back room!" said Uncle Iwan.
"Yes, Uncle," I said, lifting my suitcase to the maid's room.
****
"Aunt ... from tonight we are in the same room, yes! You don't mind, do you?" I asked.
"Wow, Aunt is really happy! There are new friends, usually, at night, they are afraid too! You know, I'm old," said Aunt Titin.
"Hee-hee, thank God if Aunt is happy!" I said relieved.
"Oh, yeah, before going to school, usually Vira helps Mom wash the dishes, sweep and mop the house!" I explained.
"Duh, you are very diligent, Vira!" praise Aunt
"So while I'm here, let Vira help Aunt's work," I asked.
"It's okay, just let Aunt do the work, Vir! Later, Mom and Dad will be angry if they find out!" clearly this middle-aged woman.
"Yeah, but why don't you choose to sleep in the upstairs room, Vir? Aunt Titin asked surprised.
"Vira is afraid of them, Aunt! Because
from childhood less familiar with Sis Maya and Sis Mila.
"Oh-I sees," she mumbled.
"Make sure to go to the kitchen first, okay? Let's prepare dinner for this family."
"Vira come, Aunt!" I said trailing behind him.
"Y-yes, let's go!" invite him.
In the kitchen, I help Aunt Titin cook rice using magic com. Luckily I can cook with it. Because when my mother was paid, she bought an electric rice cooker.
"Aunt, what do you want to cook for dinner?" I asked.
"You can cook, can't you? Try opening the refrigerator, see what can be processed for extra menu tonight!" said Aunt Tin.
"Vira has an idea, Aunt!" I said as I took the food out of the fridge.
We were also busy dividing the tasks, Aunt Tin trusted me to process the food that I could. She praised my skills while helping him in the kitchen. If you are in high school, you must learn to cook, that was my mother's message when she was sick.
I started writing seasoning and frying. Aunt Tin looks happy, now that he has friends she is no longer lonely. She told me that her husband also works here, but now he is sick and resting at his son's house, his name is Pak Ahmad.
"Well, later when you're healed, come back here, where do you sleep, Aunt?" I asked.
"He's sleeping at the guard post, next to the fence!" She explained.
"No wonder the one who opened the gate, Aunt Titin, the fence is heavy, Aunt!"
"It's oke, for the time being. If Mr. Ahmad has recovered, come back here to work," she explained.
"Oh, I see," I said.
****
"Hm... the smell of cooking really smells good from the kitchen," said Iwan.
"Mah, Aunt Tin's cooking smells the scent all the way here!" he said again.
"Really?" asked Nur.
As soon as I saw the round object on the wall of the room, it was half past eight night. No wonder the stomach asks to be filled. Until
the smell of cooking wafted into the room. Even though the room uses AC.
"Come on, let's go to the dining room, Papa! I'm already hungry," invite Nur to her husband.
Nur opened the door, here the scent of cooking can be smelled even more. Impatient, she came to the kitchen to see the menu cooked by Aunt Tin.
"Hm, your cooking smells really good, Vir!" say a voice from behind.
"Eh-Auntie, you just surprised me!" said Vira.
"He-hee, just stir-fry, Auntie," said Vira.
"This is all you cook, ya?"
"Yes, Auntie."
"This looks so delicious!" she praised.
"Haven't tasted it yet, Auntie has just praised it!" I protest.
"Here... the one that's cooked, let Auntie put it on the dining table!" she asked.
I gave two additional menu plates beside the menu this afternoon which were warmed by Aunt Tin. My cousin's voice came from the dining room. The two of them had come down from the top floor because they were called Aunt.
