Capítulo 2: Is my grandpa a god?

Hello everyone and I am sorry I haven't been able to post in a long time. I have been really busy since school started, but anyways I will try to post every Wednesday and Thursday night from now on. Now sit back, relax, and enjoy! :)

"Samuel! Grandpa is here to say goodbye!" My mother's voice echoed up the stairs, pulling me from my thoughts. Grandpa? The word sent a jolt of confusion through me. I wracked my brain, trying to piece together memories of a grandfather I couldn't quite recall.

Descending the stairs, I found myself face to face with a figure from my past, yet one I couldn't quite place. He stood tall and imposing, his presence commanding the room. His black suit and slicked-back hair gave him an air of mystery, and as I studied his features, a sense of deja vu washed over me. "Samuel, my boy," he greeted, his voice low and gravelly. "It's been far too long." "Grandpa," I replied, the word feeling foreign on my tongue. "I... I didn't realize you were coming." He nodded solemnly, his icy blue eyes meeting mine. "I wanted to see you off, my boy. Your journey ahead will be fraught with danger, and I wanted to offer what guidance I could."

Danger? The word sent a shiver down my spine, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of foreboding. What did he mean by danger? And how did he know about my journey to Camp Half-Blood? Before I could voice my questions, my mother intervened, her voice tinged with concern. "Samuel, sweetheart, we need to leave soon. Say your goodbyes quickly."

Turning back to my grandfather, I felt a surge of curiosity mingled with apprehension. Who was he really? And what secrets did he hold? "Grandpa," I began, my voice hesitant. "I... I don't remember much about you. Can you tell me about yourself?" A shadow flickered across his features, and for a moment, his expression grew dark and unreadable. But then, with a sigh, he seemed to relent, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "Ah, my boy," he said, his voice tinged with sadness. "There is much you do not know, much that has been hidden from you. But know this: you come from a long line of warriors, warriors who have fought bravely in the face of darkness."

Warriors? The word echoed in my mind, and I couldn't help but feel a surge of pride. Was it possible that I was descended from heroes, from warriors who had battled against the forces of evil? But before I could ponder the implications further, my mother's voice broke through my thoughts, pulling me back to the present.

"Samuel, it's time to go," she said gently, her hand resting on my shoulder. "Say goodbye to your grandfather." With a heavy heart, I turned to face him once more, a thousand questions swirling in my mind. But as I looked into his eyes, I saw something there, something familiar yet elusive. "Goodbye, Grandpa," I said softly, a sense of longing tugging at my heartstrings. "I hope we'll meet again soon."

And with that, we left, my grandfather's enigmatic presence lingering in the air like a whisper on the wind. As we climbed into the car and drove away, I couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to him than met the eye, more secrets waiting to be uncovered. But for now, all I could do was focus on the journey ahead, on the path that lay before me.

The journey felt like a blur, the hours passing in a whirlwind of anticipation and nervous energy. Boarding the plane, I couldn't help but feel a flutter of excitement mixed with apprehension. What awaited us in America? What mysteries lay in store at Westover Hall? Hours later, as the plane touched down on American soil, I felt a surge of adrenaline. We were here. The beginning of a new chapter in my life lay before me, waiting to be written.

Stepping off the plane, the hustle and bustle of the airport enveloped me, a cacophony of voices and sounds. My mother guided me through the crowds, her reassuring presence grounding me amidst the chaos. Outside, a cool breeze greeted us, carrying with it the scent of freedom and possibility. New York City sprawled before us, a glittering maze of lights and skyscrapers. It was unlike anything I had ever seen, a city teeming with life and energy.

We hailed a taxi, and as we sped through the streets towards our new home, I couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder. This was the beginning of a new adventure, a journey into the unknown. As we pulled up to our new apartment building, my heart raced with excitement. This was it. The first step towards my destiny awaited, and I was ready to embrace it with open arms.

With a deep breath, I stepped out of the taxi and gazed up at the towering building before me. This was where my new life would begin, where I would embark on a journey that would change me forever. And as I crossed the threshold into our new home, I knew that no matter what lay ahead, I was ready. Ready to face whatever challenges came my way, ready to embrace the unknown with courage and determination.

For I was Samuel Fenrir Blitz, and my destiny awaited.
