He peered at her as her eyes unhurriedly opened. He noticed as she adapted to her surroundings before looking around, inspecting to know where she was. And upon seeing him, he knew she immediately recollected.
"I-" But Dominus cut her off.
"How's your head?" He inquired gently. He glimpsed a little graze on her head. It's as if she was hit there. And the bruise appeared new.
"Fine, thank you," She nudged herself to a crouching level. "Hmmm, how long have I been here?" Her voice was as lightweight as a feather. It was so soft in his ears.
"Half a day or so," Dominus replied. "Before you conclude to go home, tell me what happened first, I think I deserve to know for saving you,"
