Capítulo 10: A New Chapter Of Life
"You will find a true love everywhere but you won't find the way I do." said Mr. Matthew.
Mr. Matthew was a co-worker of Elsa who tried to flirt and wanted to grab her attention almost every time.
"Excuse me sir."
"Yes madam."
"Kindly stop serving me with your nonsense."
"I will complain boss if you utter such nonsense ever again."
"Chuckled", Mr. Matthew
"Elsa, your file is to be submitted on my desktop before going to home."
"Yes boss, it's just submitted. I am leaving right now."
Mr Matthew: "Madam, do reach at home not anywhere else."
Elsa: Stared him angrily. (She went off to home.)"
"I have no idea why has God created such nonsense people in the world too."
Beep! beep! "Madam, I am sorry! I thought to ask you if you aren't angry."
Elsa: "Who is there?"
Mathew: "It's Matthew."
Elsa: "Shame on you on texting me, how dare you try to involve in my matters."
Matthew: "Very sorry madam, this won't happen again, I just teased you of saying not to go anywhere else. I didn't intend anything wrong."
Elsa: "Shut up and get lost."
Elsa: "Where are you Ryan?"
Phone started to ring. "Now she remembered me, great! A message from Elsa." said Ryan.
Ryan: "Yes miss.''
Elsa: "Where are you?"
Ryan: "Home why?"
Elsa: "I need to tell you something."
Ryan: "Yes hearing."
Elsa: "There is a man at my office, he is repeatedly flirting with me."
Ryan: " Who is he?"
Elsa: Matthew my colleague.
Ryan: "Complain your boss."
Elsa: "I thought to do the same."
(The next day at office)
"I need to tell you something boss."
"Mr. Matthew repeatedly texts me and irritates me alot by his flirt."
Boss: What!
Elsa: Please, Ask him or warn him not to do this again.
Boss: "Don't worry, I am giving him a warning letter, he won't do that again."
Elsa: Thank you boss.
Matthew stopped for a while but he couldn't stop himself because he had a bet with another male colleague to win Elsa anyhow.
As almost all staff members were quite familiar with Elsa's attitude, she was never interested in anyone, she used to utter harsh words to all male colleagues if they had ever tried to cross their line. They knew she would insult them on the moment.
She had a lot of fights too with male staff on equal rights or if one wanted to dominant females.
It was Acton, a very hypocrite man and he had bet with Matthew or simply he challenged him to win Elsa anyhow.
He-stupid Matthew was a male chauvinist and highly disrespectful person but he hid his this personality just to win his bet.
Elsa didn't understand the trick, she might have been punished by God for disobeying Him.
Or God just wanted to make her stronger by examining her with harsh time she is going to face further.
Matthew never stopped to impress Elsa. He tried until he gave up.
Elsa was irritated a lot by his behavior all the time, but she was fad up too from her life finding no peace at home, thinking all the time about her father's debts and interest, nonstop working and she almost lost her interest in Ryan too just because having that fear that she disobeyed God. Her life was shattered.
She was broken and wanted to give up on life, she planned to quit her life and she tried to commit suicide. Just then a text appeared on her cellphone. It was Mr. Matthew's text and he asked to talk to her.
She looked above and mentioned God in her words:
"Dear God,
What is going to happen in my life when I tried to end my life, you sent someone to wash my mind."
Are you playing a game with me? she just whispered God and cried a lot.
She didn't reply Mathew.
She fell asleep.
On the next day, Matthew texted her again and asked if she was alright.
Matthew was never serious but the timing he was sending her texts was so relatable to Elsa's situation.
She finally talked to him and asked him about what he wanted.
He said he wanted to marry her.
She told all about Matthew's proposal to Ryan and indeed Ryan broke up by hearing that he thought as if Elsa might go away from him, he was angry at Elsa and warned her not to respond Matthew. She was agree and told him that she was never interested in him. This was the reason that she is telling him all what was happening with her.
Matthew kept on helping Elsa, tried to be so caring and loving in front of Elsa at least he never demanded to meet her secretly.
Elsa started liking Matthew's personality.
She was confused too so she asked God about Mathew if he is a better person for her or not.
She repeated the same process of praying by keeping chits under her prayer mat and she got two Yes and one no this time.
She didn't understand what to do then.
Matthew was too impressed from Elsa's tough personality. He probably for sometime forgot about his bet and he started liking Elsa.
Elsa was in a midst of two men to select one.
She asked a lady named Zuri, she was known as a pious lady, she was very close to God and people knew that she gets her answers very quick from God. It was a trick to get people's attention or she was actually a pious lady. Elsa couldn't understand that. She asked her to clear her confusion.
She told there are two men in her life, one whom she loved a lot and other who claims to love her a lot, what should she do?
Zuri replied by asking time and she said she would tell her next day.
"Elsa, one is from your prayers and other is from God."
"One is better and other is the best." Zuri replied the next day.
Elsa thought a lot where she would go.
To her prayer side man or the man sent by God.
Her mistake was only this that she wanted to ensure her personal life decisions from the creation of God not from a Creator. She should have kept patience and believed in God as she used to, but she was led astray. Every wrong path looked right in the eyes of Elsa.
Ryan texted her and told her that he was going to meet Matthew and going to stop his steps towards Elsa.
Elsa stopped him but he didn't understand that, so he promised her that he won't utter anything against her prestige.
Elsa never told Matthew that she had met Ryan without her parents' permission because she thought it would destroy her image and the self-respect she had earned, she didn't do anything wrong but it wasn't allowed in middle class families to meet with an unknown.
Matthew was met by Ryan and Ryan requested him to stay away from Elsa, Matthew was already told by Elsa that she liked Ryan but she is confused too. Matthew was very clever man or the cleverest ever.
He tackled Ryan in such a way that he turned out to be very emotional and begged Matthew to leave her alone, Ryan in his sentiments showed him a picture of Elsa with him when she met him.
Matthew abused Elsa and questioned on her character and Elsa tried to save her self- respect that she was not a girl who is disrespected easily. She broke with Ryan for his mistake as he promised her that he won't destroy her prestige, but he failed to do that.
Elsa had to choose Matthew for her life in anyway she was scared if he disrespected her in her office or he might tell everyone that he saw a picture of her with another man.
