MC POV
After opening my eyes, the first thing I notice is that ceiling in the room was definitely not mine. Hell, I don't even know how my ceiling actually looks like, actually, I don't even remember my name.
So, the question is where am I and why am I here?
Pushing off the blanket, I sit on the bed and look around the room, which appears to be quite small.
Other than the bed I am in, there is a wardrobe, a bookcase full of dusty books, a small window, a table and a door with a cat flap on it. There are books lying on the table and a bird cage placed by the window.
Before I can get up and explore the room better, a sudden intense headache assaults me, making me hold my head with both my hands and shove it into the pillow, which muffles my scream of agony before I faint.
Ow....that was bloody painful. I open my eyes, sorting through the memories which I got from the previous owner of the body.
That's right. I have transmigrated to another universe, Harry Potter, universe to be exact.
My first reaction after realizing it was excitement. As a child I always yearned for a world full of magic and miracles, and now I have the chance to live my childhood dream.
Wait I remember something important now....MY NAME IS HARRY POTTER, FUCK.
My excitement turns into full blown panic, understanding my current situation. Out of all people I could have transmigrated into, it had to be the bloody Boy who lived or Fate's chew toy.
Calming myself down, I start to sort through all my new memories and realize that the current timeline is summer before 3rd year. I have to make plans in advance since this year is going to be very dangerous and I will have to face Dementors.
Next year will be much more difficult as I will have to face Voldemort himself.
Speaking of Voldemort, I just realize that when I merged with Harry's soul, I also merged with Tom's too, since I have some of his memories, not really useful as most of his memories are not really clear.
I get up from my bed and look at the mirror in the bathroom, and boy was I surprised. I mean not to sound narcissistic or anything, but I look handsome as fuck, which surprises me since I have seen Harry's face in his memories, which is vastly different from my current face.
I notice other changes in my new body as well. Harry was 5'5" before our Tri-soul merger [A/N: I don't really know what else to call it] but now my height has shot up to 5'10", and my scrawny frame has changed to somewhat lean physique with wiry muscles which I believe are there due to my Quidditch practices. I suppose I should start exercising to get in better shape as it would help in my fights and make me feel good about myself.
I think I should stop referring to Harry in third person since I am the new Harry.
[DING!]

[System has been activated]
[Host can look at his stats and skills by saying status, and quests by saying quest. More features will be available in the future as the host progresses]
Holy shit, I have a system which I never expected. It will be very helpful for me, since I just can't rely on my luck to get out of dangerous situations as I have been doing for past three years, especially since Voldemort will be making a comeback next year. I really want to destroy all his horcruxes before he rises but it will be impossible since I can't really remember where they are. Well, I'll deal with it when the time comes. Let's check the system first and work out its mechanics.
I think out 'status' in my mind.

I look at these long lists of stats and skills and realize that I have a long way to go if I ever want to compete with the likes of Dumbledore and Voldemort. Starting this year, I have to take my studies seriously If I want to survive what's to come.
After sorting out my thoughts and getting dressed in rags which are my clothes, I head downstair to eat something.
While eating I decide to check what the stats and skills are all about. Bringing out the status screen, I click on few of them.
-Body: The Physical aspect of the wizard. Raising body stats increases the wizard's strength, speed, reflexes, stamina and balance.
-Magic: Magical properties of a wizard. Raising magic stats increases power, control and other aspects of magic.
-Mind: Mind of wizard. Raising mind stats of a wizard increases thinking speed, memory, application of known knowledge and similar other aspects of mind.
-Skills: Proficiency of the wizard in different aspects of magic. The higher the skill level of a certain branch of magic easier it is to comprehend knowledge of said branch. Higher skill level also makes it easier for the wizard to learn new spells of that skillset.
-Transfiguration: Transfiguration is a branch of magic that is focused on the alteration of the form or appearance of an object, via the alteration of the object's molecular structure.
-Charms: Charms are a type of magic spell concerned with making an object to behave in a way that isn't normal for that object.
-Magizoology: Magizoology is the study of magical creatures.
...
And the list went on and on.
