Everyone stops what they are doing and looks at Xiaohui. They all look at the envelope which Grandpa Zheng grabs and opened.
He gasps as he saw the content.
"Qiang, you told us she didn't get it! What is this!?"
"Yeah, you were even confident with it!"
Qiang texted a few people inside the conference hall that Xiaohui didn't get to land a contract. As soon as he parked the car, he quickly texted even before Xiaohui reached the conference hall.
"Xiaohui! You did great! A 60 million project? It's 6 times worth of what I told you!"
Everyone was dumbfounded by what the old man just said.
A 60 million project? If that's easy, I should just do it myself!
Qiang glares at Xiaohui before he sighs and looks at his Grandfather. Zheng Hai is looking at the contract in adoration.
"Ok! I will ready a party and tell everyone in town that our company just landed a contract with Sapphire Group!"
"Grandpa, you promised."
Zheng Hai's smile faded before he looks at Xiaohui and nodded.
"I will also announce the new director on board. Meeting dismissed!"
Everyone left the conference hall except Qiang, Xiulan, and Xiaohui.
Xiaohui looks at Qiang before she stands up and fixes her things.
"Xiaohui, this is the only time that you will be higher than me! Just wait. If I became the Chairman I will kick you out!"
"Do whatever you want. I don't care anymore" Xiaohui left the conference hall.
"Zheng Xiaohui!"
"Qiang, she might get the company as being the director. She'll only boss you around!" Xiulan said her thoughts.
"Then what am I going to do!? Grandpa always does his promises!"
"Then beg for him! Tell him that Meixiu will only get the company if ever Xiaohui became the chairman! Didn't that bastard tell us that she is the man in their relationship?"

The partnership between Zheng Company and Sapphire Group quickly spread around as Zheng Company made a statement online.
The Sapphire Group confirmed afterward. It stirs a fee talks from the other companies at their level and the higher-ups.
Even Zheng's neighbors in the village they lived in talked about it.
Meixiu was glad about what she heard around their neighborhood about Xiaohui as Sapphire Group specifically mentioned her.
Meixiu was smiling widely as she enters the house. She bought things from the market to celebrate Xiaohui's success.
"Meixiu! What's for dinner?"
"I bought beef today, Mom. Xiaohui succeed in getting a contract from the Sapphire Group!"
"I did hear about it. Go on and cook now! Xiaohui will eat as soon as she enters the house!"
Meixiu nodded and ran to the kitchen to prepare the food. As she was cutting the onions, her phone rang making her stop and look at who is calling her.
She furrowed her eyebrows as it says "Unknown Number".
Nonetheless, Meixiu answers the call.
"Hello?"
"Song Meixiu, you only have 4 months with Xiaohui."
After that, the phone call ended. Meixiu's face darkens at what the caller just said.
4 months with Xiaohui? I'll make it forever.
Meixiu continues to cook and prepare the table. As she was preparing, the door opened and it reveal a smiling Xiaohui.
Meixiu smiles when she saw her wife happy.
"Congratulations! You made it, Baby!"
"Thank you Meixiu. Ms. Zhong is probably in a good mood that's why."
"It's not about it. It's about you! You were great!" Meixiu complimented before she went back to the kitchen to get some more things.
"So what did Father say? He likes you again?"
"Mom, I don't care if Grandpa throws me out. I just wanted a peaceful life."
"Then be with Tingfeng! Or that Mr. Jiang's son! We will live comfortably!"
"Mom, I don't wanna talk about this anymore."
"About the jade bracelet" Xiaohui stops on her track when Xiaowen mentions the bracelet.
"I wear it earlier and my friends like it!"
"Mom! I told you I'll still give it back to Mr. Jiang!"
"Why would you give it back!? He already gave it to you!"
Xiaohui huffs a breath before she walks into the bedroom and slams the door. Xiaowen shakes her head before glaring at Meixiu, who is watching their interaction.
"You are the one who's teaching my daughter about bad values! She's being stubborn and won't listen to me anymore!"
Meixiu shrugged her shoulder before placing the plates on the table. Xiaohui walked out in her home clothes and helped Meixiu with the table.
"Where's Grandma?"
"Ah, she left to meet up with her friends. She should be here any minutes now."
"Ok, did you already build her room?" Xiaohui asks Meixiu.
The tall girl smiles before she nodded happily.
"Of course! It was a request from my wife and it's for Grandma Peng."
Xiaohuis smiles and sat down on the chair. Meixiu did the same thing before Xiaohui's phone rang.
"Hello?"
"Xiaohui."
Grandpa Zheng's voice can be heard from the other line. Xiaohui looks at Meixiu as the girl just stares at her.
"Can you invite the owner of the Sapphire Group to our party?"
"Ah, Grandpa, I heard that the CEO is a private person."
"I don't care. Invite the CEO to the party!"
After saying that, Grandpa Zheng hangs up the call making Xiaohui sigh. Meixiu looks at Xiaohui in confusion.
"What happened?"
"Grandpa wants to invite the owner but they were a private person."
"Why don't you try? Maybe the owner is ready to get revealed" Meixiu encourages Xiaohui.
"Ok, let me try and text Ms. Zhong" Xiaohui stands up from her chair and texted Wenqian.
Meixiu's phone vibrated in her pocket making her to take it out and look at the notification.
Ms. Song, Mrs. Song is requesting your presence at their party. Are you going?
It's time for her to know me more so yes, I will go.
Xiaohui came back, looking at her phone anxiously, waiting for Wenqian's reply.
"Did she reply already?"
"No-"
Xiaohui felt her phone vibrating making her look at it and smile widely afterward.
"She replied! The owner will come to the party!"
Meixiu smiles widely at Xiaohui's reaction.
"The owner? Who is it? And what company?" Xiaowen walked in, asking Xiaohui multiple questions.
"Mom, it's the new owner of the Sapphire Group! They were a very private person but if I'm not mistaken, the owner is from the Ren family of Xuyang."
"Then seduce the owner! It's a big fortune!"
Xiaohui looks at her mother tiredly.
"Mom, how many times do I have to tell you that I won't do it for your good."
"It's not just for me! But for you and Mom!"
"Xiaowen, stop it already. Your just choking Xiaohui."
Xiaohui, Xiaowen, and Meixiu look at Grandma Peng who just came into the house. She steps inside and closes the door.
"Mom, it's for our future! Do you want to suffer from this bastard!?" Xiaowen points at Meixiu.
"Mom, stop it already. Grandpa will announce my position in the company at the party as well so you don't have to worry about our future" Xiaohui interrupted.
"What position? You never told me anything about it!"
"Grandpa promises that he will make me the director of the company. We can leave with my income."
"The director position earns around 1.2 million per year. Give me 50 percent of your income!" Xiaowen felt delighted at what she said.
"Mom-"
"What? Are you going to disagree? I can file you two a divorce!"
Xiaohui sighs at her mother's antics.
"Ok, I'll give you the other half" Xiaowen smiles widely.

"What are you doing in my office? Qiang?"
Qiang sheepishly smile as he quickly sat down in front of Grandpa Zheng's desk.
Grandpa Zheng raises his eyebrows at Qiang's expression.
"You see, Xiaohui will be the director right?"
"Of course. It's what I gave to her in behalf of the contract" Qiang lean his body forward.
"What if, Meixiu took over the company?" Grandpa Zheng furrows his eyebrows. He quickly put away the document his looking and giving his attention to Qiang.
"What are you trying to say?"
"I'm saying if Xiaohui continues to go up in our company. She might become the Chairman and in that way, she'll probably just give it to her bastard wife. Xiaohui doesn't seem interested in our business."
Grandpa Zheng nodded his head. Qiang is right, Meixiu might get the business from Xiaohui if the girl continues to ascend from her position and he needed to do something.
Grandpa Zheng leans his back on the swivel chair.
"Ok, I'll announce that you are the newly appointed director."
"Are you serious? Grandpa?"
"Yes, now go away, I still have something to do."
