Capítulo 73: Are You Happy?

Xavier watched as Elena swallowed the pill. It would take around ten minutes before the pill would show the effect. 

"You should lie down," he said to her. He took the cup from her hand and put it on the side table. Elena obeyed him and lay down on the bed. She didn't know what to expect.

She was not used to taking medication or drinking too much alcohol to numb her feelings. Today was the first time. Initially, she drank so much to give her the courage to get rid of her discomfort while she was with Fabio.

However, what happened afterward was so much worse than what she expected that she just wanted to bang her head on the wall so she could pass out and forget about everything. Also, sleeping apparently would only make matters worse since she was haunted by nightmares.

It was really such a horrible situation to be in.

"You can focus your attention on the ceiling or the curtain and let your mind calm down itself," said Xavier gently. "Don't think."
