Deming ran to the window as Nie Shaoqing jumped in through the window.

"What took you so long, Young master! I thought that you were caught," Deming whispered following his young master closely as he took off his mask.

Nie Shaoqing sat on the stool by the tea table and took off his boots,

"the security at Banxi Pavillion is surprisingly good. There are almost no blind spots around Madam Liu's quarters. I was discovered just outside her quarters. I would have been caught if it wasn't for Liqiu".

Deming sucked in some breath through his teeth, "this is bad," he picked up the boots and took them away to dry.

Nie Shaoqing was changing into his night clothes when he got back. He picked up the wet clothes and hung them on his arm, "Young master by Liqiu, do you mean the sword dancer?"
