It would seem that placing Major Elric as the temporary bodyguard of his daughter was a good decision. It had worked.
The young Major reported that after they had left the premises, the Princess asked him to drive her into the City.
However, after driving for a few more minutes, the Princess asked if they could return to the Palace. She said that she had lost her interest in painting the town red.
"Thanks, Brent." He stated before dismissing him from his presence. But he would prefer if the young soldier learned of his daughter's secrets.
For her safety, he wanted to know all her movements. But with the incompetency of most of her security, they had failed to observe her other activities.
But at least she came home safely last night. She would have beaten himself up if she ended up in a ditch, harmed. Or if someone abducted her or the other worse scenario.
He would never be able to forgive himself.
