He had just finished the last of his meeting for today. He turned to the clock and saw the time. He knew he could still make it to the celebration if he left now. 

But he believed he was not ready to face her yet, not until he had the facts about her. However, he could not help but wonder about the many possibilities. Many questions plagued his mind that needed answers. 

Yet, he had no idea if he could trust her.

Could he believe her words that had been lies from the very start?

"Your Majesty. Major Elric is here to see you. Should I send him in?" Henry, his assistant, spoke up in his presence, snapping him out of his reverie.

"Please." He said with a deep sigh, feeling both anxious and excited about what the Major learned about his assignment.
