Liam had never tasted the food he ate for dinner as his mind was busy wondering what to do with his situation. He thought his day would not get any worse, but it seemed the clock had not struck twelve yet, so it was better if he expected more.
He wondered if things would get better tomorrow. He hoped so. But tonight, he had to clean up the mess he had made. He could only blame no one else but himself for ending in this situation.
"Eli, thanks for being a good friend." He kissed her on the cheek before sending her off. She had an apartment in the city where she stayed when she was home.
At least he had cleared his relationship with Eli. He knew he could count on her to understand. They had an agreement. And it seemed she had kept her end of the bargain, just like he did.
Thanks
