"Fancy seeing you here, cousin." The girl in the middle smiled at her companion but raised her brow at her. "And who is your new assistant?" She asked with a sneer spreading on her lips.

She had no idea what earned her the scorn on their faces, but suddenly it reminded her of the times that girls like them bullied her around because she was too weak to fight. 

But was she the same girl as before? Of course not. She had learned to fight her way, especially when Cole was not around anymore to protect her. She found her inner strength to work through all her struggles, including those mean girls.
