She looked around the room as she calmed herself, hoping to maintain her poise and cool. She came here to get answers, and that was what she was doing. She straightened herself in her chair and shook off whatever made her uncomfortable around this man.

If this man knew something, more than he should, she had to find out what it was. She had kept her secret to protect her child. She would not let anyone, not even this man jeopardize that. 

"Please, make yourself comfortable. I rarely get visitors from people from our home country, especially in this foreign land." The Count offered her some refreshments that Wesley served before leaving them alone again.

Still, she reminded herself that this was Count Julius Ashthorne and not the other Count who had driven her away from her previous life, forcing her to leave everything she held dear behind.
